This topic leads to a question I've always wondered about.... with no way to dismember an opponent, the only way to lose a limb is DM fiat. So... aside from the DM saying you've lost an arm to that nasty trap you didn't didn't disarm, what is the point of the regeneration spell?

So when I go to edit or post a message during business hours on ENWorld and it takes 5+ minutes, is it a problem with server load or bandwidth? It makes me sad that my favorite site is basically unavailable 8 hours out of the day (and it's not in the 8 hours I sleep).

I think you're reading too much into this. From where I sit it looks like he is talking about the "general" you, and not "specifically" you. Edit: Hmm... rereading that to make sure I'm not making a fool out of myself, I kinda of agree with you about the last line re: glowing recommendation...

That's certainly fair enough. I just wouldn't want to see WotC relying on it for their stat-blocks. (Well I would, but my understanding of it is that it would require a total rewrite in order to make it reliable enough to catch all the small errors creeping into the statblocks).

Maybe they do and that is why there is so many errors :). No offense to anyone at CMP (I say this as someone who recently purchased e-Tools plus all the datasets and uses them for all my stat-blocks) but I've found that e-Tools is pretty buggy by itself. I took a quick look at the statblocks...

Hmmm... I didn't think you could critical with Ray of Enfeeblement on account of the fact that it didn't deal damage (it's a penalty not damage), much like you can't critically hit with Bull's Strength.
