Just posting to say that Paizo goblins are awesome...

Another Spycrafty recommendation... I'm a fan of all things spycraft (my wallet a little less so). They have an interesting article over on their website that breaks down a combat, it gives an idea of the play style of the game...

Much like everyone else, I used them last year (maybe two years ago - time flies when you don't pay attention) and my experience was good.

I'd assume they'd get a credit in the book? So wouldn't it be public knowledge when they are released? In any case they are very nice.

Same thing happened in my campaign this weekend. Cleric tried to cast a healing spell on a wizard who had cast mirror image on himself. I ruled it the same way you did. Roll to see which image you hit (without the penalty of blowing the image away). I'd say you got it right. Edit: Different...

Sorry, I'm sure this has been covered before. Quick question about holding the charge. Could you cast a Touch Spell (say CLW) as a standard action, then take a move action to get close to an ally, and finally deliver the touch spell all in the same round? Thanks!

My groups (two of them) never take copper or silver. It's just not worth the effort for them and frankly I agree. I enforce encumbrance in my campaigns and at 1/2 gp per pound of coin, they'd rather leave it.

I'm not sure that it's a horrible, indefensible decision on their parts, but if their objective is to get me to buy into the DI during the free trial period, they are failing miserably at it.

I'm a fan of the Spycraft method of AoOa. Simply put, they don't exist. However when a character takes an action that would normally result in an AoO they gain a condition (usually flat-footed) until the start of their next action.

What changed about them?

I'm going to agree with everyone else. Reading those two sentences, the rest of the spell description and looking at the table which shows what the ability modifiers are for various races, it seems pretty clear that mental abilities are not changed. I don't see how you can read it any other way.

I'd like a season to last as long as there are good ideas and interesting stories to tell. I'll watch 13 episodes or 26 episodes of a show, but it's got to be good. A lot of shows seem to try to either cram too much into their shorter seasons, or stretch out whatever they can for longer seasons.

I was looking at the DVDs and Amazon and saw this: Some music has been changed for this home entertainment version. Some episodes may be edited from their original network versions. Anyone know what changes have been made?

Loved Robotech (both cartoon and rpg) as a kid, but unless there are some major rule revisions, I'm going to pass on this one. (can't say I'm fond of the smaller book size either).

I'd argue the Crystal Shard is pretty close. No spell resistance or save, you do have to make a ranged touch attack, but damage-wise it's nasty (and one of our Psion's preferred powers). Powers that deal damage to mental attributes are pretty brutal as well, although with the Spell Compendium...

I DM'd World's Largest Dungeon with one player using a Psion and I found them to be overpowered and probably wouldn't use them again. It's true that over the course of four or five encounters they are balanced with other spellcasters, but the problem I ran into was that after two encounters...
