    That grell would go down like a ton of bricks against a hasted fighter with spring attack, a master archer, buffed cleric and an archmage. A rogue that wins initiative can zip in and lay on a bunch of sneak attacks or tumble in and flank with the spring attacking fighter.

    It only takes a few yahoos that don't read the description of a feat to make it rate a 2 or a 3 when it really does nothing. If you extend the negative range that you can survive to equal your level then it becomes vaguely better because at -19 you could still cast heal on yourself.

    Poison is a 3rd level druid spell. At the minimum DC of 13, it would cost 5 x 3 x 2000 or 30,000 gcs. DC 14 would be 33,000 and each additional DC would be +6k. Black Lotus extract has a DC 20 so that would bring the price to 69k but it does 3d6 instead of 1d10 which is 10.5 avg damage vs 5.5...

    The aniversary issue had I believe 4 dragonslayer prestige classes. Those super specialized classes are best suited towards NPCs that don't have to do a variey of tasks.

    I have to agree that either the quick loading weapon makes this feat obsolete but quick loading seems to be excessively expensive. I would have thought +1 would have been plenty to charge and a fixed cost would have been better. If you are out of spells and have to resort to using a crossbow...

    I think all the divine feats were meant to be activated as free actions. They are grossly underpowered otherwise. It certainly isn't worth giving up your actions for a round for any of them. They give a medium bonus for a limited time and limited times per day.

    I'm interested in seeing what other people think of feats. I have them all clearly rated in my mind and I like to laugh at people who get them totally wrong. There is a website that has feats rated from 1-5 but its full of crazy homebrew feats mixed in with regular feats.

    They made the blasting power in the epic handbook which is a triple flaming that can be multiplied on a critical. They call it a +6 weapon power. I'd really call it a +4 (+3 for 3d6, +1 for bursting)

    Do you tell your players when the monsters make their saves or not? Why or why not? Would you do it for charm, slow, or area damage? Would you tell them if the creature was unaffected because of its SR in the case of spells like prayer?
