The adventures themselves are great- very tight, easily useable for any drop-in. I use DCC adventures for my DnD games often enough for side stuff etc... so the content is absolutely there, but yeah the editing could use touching up here and there.

I noticed in the original Tome of Adventure that some of the text will refer to page numbers from the original publication. So it'll say something like "see ITEM on page 33," but the adventure started on page 64 and the item is actually on page 71. Same lack of editing, or editing misses.

It's definitely the additional social-friend-hangout that fuels the "in the moment" aspect for me in-person. It's not the same for me online, though... I have to really force myself to pay attention as a player online, and it kills most of the enjoyment for me.

My former in-person group is all online now. They like playing from the convenience of their homes on weeknights. Makes me sad. I couldn't do online as a player, it's not stimulating enough for me to keep paying attention.
