D&D General Michael Moorcock live twitch interview Oct 8th by Goodman Games Sanctum Secorum!

Hawkmoon/Runestaff would make a wonderful TV series. The portrayal of a feral, bloated and cruel Granbretan, heroically resisted by a hero from mainland Europe would certainly strike a zeitgeist right now, as well as giving a dig to the UK equivalent of those who support the values of LaNasa...

Hello, Mr LaNasa. As you know from EN World, I come from the East End of London, and I happen to have a bridge that I'd be willing to sell...

Agreed. It surprises me that Elric has never had big screen treatment. Same applies to Corum and Hawkmoon too.

D&D General How would the earl react to the news that he unknowingly refused to let his son marry a future queen?

Now if the UK House of Lords included silver dragons, storm giants, centaurs, goblins, lizard men and wolfweres, the funeral in Westminster Abbey yesterday would have been worth watching!

RPG Evolution - D&D Tactics: Camping

Eyes reflecting in the firelight’s ebb, some distance beyond true light. And movement..... I don’t really worry too much about rules for camping ( light spells, good berry etc), but I do use the atmospherics of being sat around a campfire, in a pitch Black Forest, with a light rain falling and...

Can you imagine the film ending with Kirk Douglas standing and all around him others stand up, shouting, “I’m Justin LaNasa!”

    Homebrew A Leveled Up Bestiary

My great grandmother (who was born in the East End of London in 1879) used to tell me as a child that if I was naughty, Jack the Ripper would get me!!! This was both terrifying for me, highly questionable by her, but also reflecting that she was a little girl when the actual events were occurring.

That second comment shows just how bitter, nasty and hateful these people are. We all need, in whatever ways we can, to continue to fight to protect the victory that was won in 1945.

    Homebrew A Leveled Up Bestiary

Another great little creature. I always find it amusing that so many myths have creatures who spend their time doing “wicked” things, but who then step-in behind conventional morality to either “punish adulterers” or punish naughty children.

Level Up (A5E) A5e Psionics with the Psi Dice (Project for potential release, A5e, somewhat 5e compatible)

I’ll start with a response before handing the baton to people with far more gaming “nous” than me: On first glance, it looks balanced and interesting. Speaking personally, the thing that has always killed psionics in every campaign I’ve ever run or played in, was being overpowered to a gross...

A skeleton with personality! This is a true horror and a definite side-trek in any campaign.

And Fog Provocatrix has to be a character from a Victoriana horror RPG, set in London.

Hooligangster were the support band for Chumbawamba. (I made that up btw, but they should have been)

With you here, @Faolyn Dinosaurs are cool, but an adventure in the Cenozoic is several shades more awesome. You and me versus the Entelodon.

    The Queen has died

Also, neither the Queen, nor the new King, ever came close to knighting Justin LaNasa, so he can stick his “Sir” where the sun don’t shine.

D&D 5E (2024) After my players tried to break it, we discovered that the new half-race rules are hilarious and terrible.

If your sole intent is to break something, you’ll probably succeed. RPG systems are no different in this regard. I’m not sure this indicates any problem with the system
