Probably the most disappointing thing for me with Buffy was never seeing more of 'young Giles playing with the darkside'. I'd love a show or miniseries or whatever about late 70s Britain, with nasty punk black magic Giles finding his way out of the gutter.

They've (being the mods) also hinted on the BI boards that there's a realms of chaos coming up. It's kind of good it takes a while to develop characters, or we'd need more stuff straight away. But the essentials are fantastic. We start our game on Wednesday.

I'd like to give it a 6.5, but I can't so I'm giving it a six. I thought it was kinda perfect in lots fo ways (great casting, great design) but just felt a wee bit flat to me. It wasn't bad, but it wasn't that good either.

Wierd... I've got xvid installed (and reinstalled it just to be sure) and that d/l wouldn't play for me.

:D My only fear is that it looks a little matrix-y at times... but I'm pretty sure that that's for the trailers. They've also toned down the Western aspect in the trailer as well...

Some guys I know did it once and one ended up in hostpital after cutting his knuckles on the other guy's teeth. It got badly infected and he had to have pus drained out of it.

I agree it was pretty bad, but the point was that they were trying to shoehorn it into a DnD system as is, without changes. There weren't a lot of options for them to do this, and given that that was their aim, I don't think they did that badly. It was just kind of a dumb aim.

I still say that those aren't nearly as prevelent as the tropes of fanasy. Also some of those are getting less and less by the year. Lasers for example.
