Traveller d20: What version is it closest to?

You can try posting a message here: Duty Free Shop It's one of the boards at the CotI site for buying/selling/trading Traveller stuff between fans. You might find someone willing to sell off their copy.

Traveller d20: What version is it closest to?

T20 is much closer to Classic Traveller (which it is based on) than it is GURPS Traveller. Mechanics wise, they are quite different. Setting wise, they are quite compatible. Hope that helps!

Help me pick between 2 sci-fi games

Nope, it's meant as a fairly generic toolkit for sci-fi d20 roleplaying. The rules and any setting are two different beasts. I spent a couple of years as an infantryman in the 82nd. Yes, infantry units in the Army would likely have the high BABs of a Marine, but the vast majority of personnel...

[GRG] War of the Worlds Sourcebook

My apologies, it isn't within the WoW book but rather in your d20 conversion document. As I said previously though, I don't have an issue with it (rather pleased in fact!). You're quite welcome!

[GRG] War of the Worlds Sourcebook

Yup. See section 7 of the OGL. That said, I don't have a problem with T20 being mentioned (I'm a huge WoW fan!). I would have liked to have known about it though. Good job on the product! I'll be snapping up the print version too when it is released.

    FastForwardGames & Reviews: The Confrontation

Actually it's not FFE either. FFE is Far Future Enterprises. They have been using that as their abbreviation for far longer than Fast Forward. It is also their company designation for distributors and retailers.

    The $40 mark is broken

Bah, they will do it no matter the price. I at one time has a shareware program available for a mere $10. It was being cracked and the codes passed out. Apparently the program was good enough that they wanted to use it but they didn't want to pay for it. Price is not a major factor on piracy...

    The $40 mark is broken

As I said previously, so far pricing it as a single book at $44.95 hasn't hurt sales any. Also consider that splitting the book up also increases the publisher's costs and reduces the profits needed to produce follow-up material. It is a matter of economics and survival. [edited for typos]

    The $40 mark is broken

Pricing the Traveller's Handbook below $40 would have meant we lost money. I would be willing to say that most publishers price their products based on cost rather than a wish to inflate profits. If we had broken the THB into say a players book and a seperate referee's book our fans would have...
