    D&D 5E (2014) Atheism/Agnosticism in 5e?

The main issue to my mind that's being skipped over is the afterlife. In most D&D settings, when you head of the pearly gates, there is a good chance you may spend a few days there before being summoned back t the local temple by your friendly priest. So there is not really the great sense of...

D&D 5E (2014) I can haz WILD MAGE and the first DRAGONBORN art?

All the Class Abilities/Feats that add damage to spells do all seem a bit on the conservative side so far. I suspect it is more caster balancing.

I suspect it may be more, 'not from in a town/city', but I could be wrong.

    D&D 5E (2014) FGG/Necromancer Games teases 5th Edition Foes

In general, it is a basis of how Level based Systems work is that everything has abilities that are in line with their level. Now in 5e, Level for monsters would appear to be half their Challenge. So their Proficiency Bonus appears to be based upon that number, rather than their Hit Dice...

    D&D 5E (2014) Starter Set Tweak -- Starting at a higher level

There is an argument that new players generally have an expectation that life is dangerous - a dagger will kill you, and react accordingly. It is often established gamers who have expectations of being able to shrug off anything short of an airstrike because - 'Hit Points', and react accordingly.

D&D 5E (2014) Does the inclusion of these two gamers undo WOTC desire to be inclusive?

The linked article is a badly researched mishmash of controversy and lies which no legitimate publisher would touch. It has also now been debunked by at least a dozen sources, many of which included testimony by people who are actually LGBT gamers.

D&D 5E (2014) Was Tempest an odd choice for PC-centric domain?

I think part of the issue is people are assuming these are like domains in 3.5, but I actually think they are meant to be seen as much broader. So Magic is the Knowledge Domain (or possibly Trickery). I suspect we will know more when we see the list of Gods in the PHB appendices.

    D&D 5E (2014) WHOH - Fighters get 4 attacks. Barb/Paladin gets 2 and all else gets 1???

    D&D 5E (2014) WHOH - Fighters get 4 attacks. Barb/Paladin gets 2 and all else gets 1???

You do not get the same Extra Attack progression as the Fighter. Your six levels in fighter will allow you to attack twice in an action. Your five levels in Barbarian will allow you to attack twice as an action. Which ever of these you use, you get to attack twice as an action. A level 11...

    D&D 5E (2014) AC 25+

That's alright. The rules are only out in basic form, and there's a metric ton of spoilers and leaked material. On top of that a lot of us are understandably making assumptions based on what was and was not in play test. None of us can expect encyclopedic rules knowledge right now, don't sweat it.

D&D 5E (2014) A viable game and the vicious edition cycle

Some sort of reverse kickstarter you mean? If we raise 10k we will not release a Truenamer Class: hit our first streach goal and the Soulknife will never see development!

    D&D 5E (2014) AC 25+

Mage Armour makes the target’s base AC become 13 + its Dexterity modifier. This is not +3 AC, it is a straight substitution. now we don't know how Unarmoured Defense works, but I am guessing it will be 10 + Dexterity modifier + Another Stat Modifier. In which case, its not doing anything that...

    D&D 5E (2014) FGG/Necromancer Games teases 5th Edition Foes

Well the Spectator in Phadelver is probably the best example e have of what they will actually be like. Distinct abilities that do not refer to the spells chapter at all. So instead of 'Inflict Wounds' it has 'Wounding Ray. The target must make a DC 13 Constitution saving throw, taking 16 (3dl0)...
