    D&D 5E (2014) Planar Binding

I believe expanded summoning rules are one of the things expected to be in the DMG. That said, it seems to suggest that creatures trapped in an Inverted Magic Circle cannot leave it for the duration, (2 hours if cast at 5th level), which you could read as overruling the duration of Conjure...

    Concept Help - Duelist

It is much, much better. The limiting factor of Unarmored Defense is that to get a decent AC out of it you have to have a very good score in two Abilities.

    D&D 5E (2014) Blade Pact and Sentient/Artifact Weapons

This cropped up on a recent thread, and the consensus seemed to be that the bold part only applied to the latter sentence. I.e. you can have an Artifact or Sentient Pact Weapon, but you cannot shunt it to an extradimensional space.

    Sharpshooter Feat, just sayin'.

D&D 5E (2014) What armor can druids wear? Is there a way to get a decent AC?

Well Mike Mearls at least feels shields should stack, which lends credence to the 'treat as armor' proponents.

D&D 5E (2014) Heavy Armour Master and Resistance

TBH, given the lack of any guidance on how/if this is supposed to stack, I would probably let the player choose to either half the Damage or take the -3. Edit: Ignore this, despite looking up the relevant rules I somehow utterly failed to read the middle paragraph. See below.

    D&D 5E (2014) Kobold Preview

New Kobold Ability that should solve everyone's concerns. Hands: Kobolds have special five fingered appendages they can use for multiple purposes. The may take a 'Use an Object' Action just like a PC. Some fearsome Kobolds have been known to use their 'hands' to Grapple, use Improvised Weapons...

    D&D 5E (2014) Jump

With a Strength (Athletics) check you can 'jump an unusually long distance'. (Page 59 of the 0.2 Player's Basic Rules). No numbers for distance are associated with this rule.

    D&D 5E (2014) Optimal Multiclassing

Given that spell casters lose access to higher level spells by multi-classing, they do get heavily penalized. Even the spell slot table is not as beneficial as you might think. Without it a Cleric 3 Wizard 3 would get 8 1st level spells and 4 2nd level. With it they get 4 1st level, 3 2nd, 3...

D&D 5E (2014) What armor can druids wear? Is there a way to get a decent AC?

Well, for starters, I am not sure this is technically correct. A shield does not give you an Bonus to Armour Class. Page 144. 'Armor Class (AC). Armor protects its wearer from attacks. The armor (and shield) you wear determines your base Armor Class.' 'Shields. A shield is made from wood or...

    D&D 5E (2014) [5e Monster] Mushropod--composting at its best

I think the problem is, it is only as effective as its CR suggests if it gets an ambush. Compare to Bugbears, that are effective as their CR suggests normally, and oh so much harder if they ambush you. It might help if you gave it Proficiency on its attacks; but I still think it needs...

D&D 5E (2014) What armor can druids wear? Is there a way to get a decent AC?

Why would it drop? It makes your minimum AC 16, if your AC is higher than that it has no effect. Honestly, the wording in this case could not be any less ambiguous.

    D&D 5E (2014) [5e Monster] Mushropod--composting at its best

To be honest, my main concern would be that with such a low move, most of the attacks this thing is ever going to make in play is one Improvised Thrown weapon attack per round. Unless it has some minions capable of dragging things to it, it is basically arrow bait. Also, not sure what the...

    D&D 5E (2014) 5E Maths

The worst thing about working out Challenge Rating is the proficiency Bonus is keyed of it, so you end up going round in a circle trying to pin down the exact numbers.

D&D 5E (2014) What armor can druids wear? Is there a way to get a decent AC?

Mage Armor, PHB 'The target’s base AC becomes 13 + its Dexterity modifier.' And that is is a spell that works exactly how you are interpreting Barkskin, but look how different the wording of the effect is.

D&D 5E (2014) What armor can druids wear? Is there a way to get a decent AC?

To be fair, just like with Barkskin above, it doesn't work the way everything else does so it catches you off guard.
