Morality in your D&D - b&w or gray?

Bit of both. I tend to run more grey orientated, morally ambiguous type games. But on the other hand, it's quite fun to play the ol kick in the door and slay the dragon sort of game. And running them IMHO is easier. Grey games take more effort from players as well - which is good, but can...

    Stat yourself... Off topic?? dunno.

Hmm. According to a test I'm a gnome Illusionist-Thief. Nah. Str - 15 - I'm fairly strong and can lift 200 kilograms (198 or something) with one machine. Can do a 100 kilo bench press though I tend to stick to 60 kilogram repetitions (Possibly I can do more, I just don't like being silly)...

What is your favorite D&D setting?

Also Homebrew. Couldn't find Hyboria (Conan) either. Sad! So I voted planescape as I vaguely remember something about some stairs.

    Anachronisms in Fantasy

While I find nothing intrinsically wrong with technology all over the joint, I think the world must be able to fit it. I'm soon to develop a airships over a gas planet game of warring cities - the technology is an important part of the world. Vice versa, putting a gun into Hyboria would not...

Help with BBEG - Sentient Computer

How is a computer able to be defeated in cyberspace by a virtual reality type creation that is within it's own programs? Wouldn't the actual characters be 'viruses' or something of the like ripping apart programs? Personally.. I'd let them walk into an empty ship. What's that? A blast door...

    Help! Cthulu needed!

Lol! Tom Cashel: Fair enough! It's kind of odd how I spell Cthulhu without the H. It's because I don't think of it with a H. For some reason my mind just goes 'Nope. No H there.' and smacks me across the fingers with a wooden ruler like my first grade teacher. How odd. *SANITY CHECK*...

    Help! Cthulu needed!

Er, thanks for the spelling tip? I was unsure that spelling was so important to the great elder gods. Obviously it is :D:D Kidding. But for others, Thanks! *checking out Yog-Sothoth.co m now*

    Do You Allow Evil PCs?

Yes and no. I'd have to say it depends on the game. In my current game - see the Riddle of Kukhulaid story hour! - there's little alignment as such and to survive everyone must be thieves, scoundrels and slayers (if not outright murderers). Conan/Lankmaar type of game with vast spaces, few...

1920s, though modern isn't so hard.

    Help! Cthulu needed!

Hey, peoples! I need some help. Tomorrow I'm introducing a new player to the game. Normally I'm quite happy with that (as it's a new Cthulu game and all). But Cthulu and horror in general is kinda hard to introduce to a newbie. And the campaign is Shadows of Yog-Sothoth! It's deadly! And...

Goblins? Boring? I shouldn't think so.

I didn't really know about that. I wonder if they give a nice, spooky, myth feel to them though.

Goblins? Boring? I shouldn't think so.

Who's tired of the average two hit point goblin? Thats right - the one with a minus to hit with it's morningstar. I've a good idea to put some fear back into players. Give some of these monsters a lot more of their mythological powers - and make them bloody evil. For instance. Goblins...

Tell me about the women in your world!

Well.. An interesting game was my swashbuckling adventures based in the 17th century. While there were two female players, only one played a woman. I warned her no less than four times it would be more difficult. To begin with she was dismayed at the handsome duelist types stealing her every...

    Worth it? I think so.

Well, I played my.. hmm, it would be 20th session in my homebrew world today. It's not finished by far. The first continent isn't finished. I could do a bloody heckload more on the stuff I've already written. I've probably.. over the course of a few months.. spent 30+ hours just writing things...

Meleghost, Cu Chulaid and Friends.. and Enemies, too.

Back.. after a long wait. As I now have an entire 1 reader, I desire to update once again :D Plot Details for TDRandall: The original characters were testers for this homebrew world of mine - Which isn't the Conan world I might add, though perhaps it has a lot of real-world influences as Conan...
