2nd Level Group Holds off Group of 6th level/9th level Clerics (Long)

Pielorinho: Thanks. At the very least though, I should try and make less mistakes next time around. :) Wolfspider: *notices the black, unmarked helicopter hovering above his house* I'll let you know if I ever try to run a dragon ingame. Honest. *runs away screaming* :D

2nd Level Group Holds off Group of 6th level/9th level Clerics (Long)

Thanks for the input, guys. I realize I made some rule/tactical errors (im not going to deny that), but hopefully will be able to better run the next game. Some points... The Cleric had slay living prepared because the cleric wasn't expecting anyone to come and try to attack the temple - - he...

2nd Level Group Holds off Group of 6th level/9th level Clerics (Long)

The Druid had a pack full of plants. He cast it on those (right in front of him), and was close enough to get some of the clerics. He succeeded at the Reflex save and avoided being caught himself. I'm assuming he just did that to buy some time for the others, and didn't expect to survive much...

2nd Level Group Holds off Group of 6th level/9th level Clerics (Long)

They definitley received major rewards. They're now armed to the teeth but still rather inexperienced :D Im realizing a bunch of things I shouldve done to better manage the clerics, but extremely poor rolls on my part and a lack of spells to bring the PC's down but not kill them caused problems...

2nd Level Group Holds off Group of 6th level/9th level Clerics (Long)

What? Yes, you heard me. Last night, I ran an immensely fun game where a group of five level 2 PC's (actually - one was an NPC) held off a group of 7 level 6 Clerics of Bane and 1 level 9 Cleric of Bane. I don't think I've ever rolled so poorly in my life! Ok, rolling poorly wasn't the only...

    SimCity 4

I'm so eager to pick this one up! Hopefully I'll get a chance to swing by the gamestore sometime this week. I've heard about the problems making money early on...but how is it in general? Sorry for not contributing any info...just hoping to get a few more first-hand accounts of it. :D -Aereon

[M&M] The Unofficial Marvel Character Stats Thread

Thanks for the feedback, everyone! Sorry for the lack of updates, some real life stuff has been keeping me busy as of late. Expect a bunch of updates soon though, I'll be going back and doing major revisions to the stats i've posted (likely starting with Cyke and working my way down). Neowolf...

Maybe he charged the guys fillings? :D Kidding aside...that was an Ultimate X-Men thing though, and their powers might differ slightly. I'll try to do the normal Marvel U Gambit first, who I think can only charge inanimate things. :)

    What color is your goblin?

I've usually associated goblins as having green/yellowish skin. I'm surprised to find all these different colors/descriptions here. Who would've thought? :)

I'm leaning more towards a new power rather than an extra/flaw of Energy Blast. I'm trying to recount different uses of his power and have thought of at least one thing which might work as a power stunt for it (perhaps an extra): in the past Gambits demonstrated the ability to time his kinetic...

Eh...its been tough to properly place the PL's. I was honestly a hair away from bumping up Prof X. power level (and will probably do that in a bit anyways). Im trying to keep most of the X-Men around 10-13 (10 being often recent recruits/those who havent mastered their powers, 11 for those that...

[M&M] The Unofficial Marvel Character Stats Thread

Next up: Professor X. This was real tough to do. His telepathic powers allow him to do a lot, so that meant a lot of points into his powers which left little room for much else. After a lot of reorganization, this is what I came up with: Professor X Power Level: 15 Concept: Founder of the...

Greg K: Thanks!! This helps immensely...while there's no easy conversion between the two rulesets, its perfect for figuring for sure who's-better-than-who at abilities. I liked the 80's era Psylocke (who co-lead the team when they were out in Australia) best, myself. It just wasn't the same...

[M&M] The Unofficial Marvel Character Stats Thread

Sorry, I meant #115 (posted it before I got a chance to read your reply + typo = bad). Heh...you miss only like two or three issues and all sorts of stuff happens. I'm just waiting before they come up with some way to bring back Colossus or Psylocke. No one stays dead in the marvel...

Doh! I'm reading some stuff online on how he was shown in the wheelchair still recovering from his wounds in issue #116. My mistake, thanks for pointing that out. I was somewhat close though...he delivered the wound that put him in the wheelchair, at least. :) Edit: Issue #113 of X-Men (turned...

Wait! I have that issue of the New X-Men somewhere too :D I thought in the New X-Men issue it was explained as being some sort of psychic/magnetic remnants of his death or something odd like that which Polaris was absorbing? Wolvie stabs him right through the chest in X-Men #113, and he's...

Hm...I'm fairly certain Wolvie killed him in the final battle on Genosha. It was around when the second stringers Jean brought in to rescue Prof X. from Magneto were around, and Wolverine, Cyclops and Jean were there fighting him on Genosha. I'll look around for the ish, I might be wrong.

Thanks. :) I'll write up Prof. X next. Heh, I was worried about spamming the d20 system forum with different marvel character threads, but I guess your right that it isn't spam if its actually useful/different material. Still...I'll wait til this one dies down a bit before starting any new ones...
