    [SWSE] Threats of the Galaxy

Given how easy it is to brew up stock NPCs, and the fact that I've already done so, my main interest in this book is what new character options and gear are presented, if any. With Rodney's past statements of wanting the SWSE sourcebooks to be useful for both GMs and players, I'm hoping we do...

But what if I LIKE Anime/Video-game tropes in my D&D?

If it makes for better gameplay, then I'm all for it. And from what's been revealed so far, it looks like I'll be one of those that will really enjoy the various changes in 4e. Then again, ToB: Bo9S is far and away my favorite D&D book by a huge margin, and frankly, I found D&D 1e and 2e to be...

    More Star Wars

Depending on how high a level said Sith Lord is, they can just use Block/Deflect to deal with Destiny point auto-crits, since it's a UtF check against their attack bonus + 20, and becomes a bit easier if they have Skill Focus (UtF). The primary Sith Lord villain in my last SW campaign was 14th...

On the origin of species: Warforged

That's becuase those rights are held by a different company, making such a cross-over a nightmare of licensing arguments to hash out :D

What Core Class was actually fun to play

    1. More or less. Having played a rogue under a DM that threw us into an adventure where everything was either construct or undead, not being able to use one of my big class abilities got really aggravating real fast. And I've heard plenty of cleric players gripping about being nothing more...

On the origin of species: Warforged

So, do the followers of Primus have "'Til all are One" as their mantra? Or the leader of the church bearing an ancient talisman said to hold the power of their god, able to light their darkest hour? :D ;) :D Then there's inevitiable cross-over with the army of specially chosen warriors that...

    OotS #517 Is Up

Great plan. One problem, as boolean pointed out. So I guess a rogue's gotta do what a rogue's gotta do when the cleric is MIA. I can only assume that Sneak Attack + Flaming Arrow in a Random Orifice = Goth Theurge having something new to get emo about ;)

Just got my Starships of the Galaxy!

I've been using the guidelines on the following webpage, and it seems to work out pretty well for determing a ship's Challenge Level. It's not a hard science, but it gets the job done. http://d20seproject.vanguardcomplex.net/files/cl1.html

    So... what about WFRP?

Compared to most D&D games, where the cleric is healing left and right and the wizard is blaster-casting like crazy, WFRP's magic isn't anywheres near as prevalent. The academies are centrally located around the Empire's capital, at least according to the background fluff I've read, and most...

What Core Races have you played?

Seem's I've played everything except a Half-Orc or a Gnome, though I have to confess that human PCs are in the vast majority for me.

    So... what about WFRP?

Been playing in a friend's WHRP game for several weeks now as a Bretonnian Knight-Errant. The GM allowed us to select our starting careers instead of rolling them, which is certainly an option if you want to avoid having a really bizarre company of adventurers. Have to admit it's pretty fun...

    Three Adventures for SWRPG:SE

Give it time, give it time. Next year looks quite full as far as new content goes, and there's also the free Dawn of Defiance mega-module.

    Why So Serious? HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!

If they were to do a nebulous "nobody could have survived that" scene, that would fit perfectly with Joker from the comics, who seems to have a reputation of popping back up sometime after he supposedly died. Maybe even, just before the credits start to roll as thecamera pulls back from...

    Why So Serious? HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!

Consider me one of those doubters for Heath Ledger that is now sold on his playing the Joker. I'm half tempted to go see "I Am Legend" just for that preview bit... "To them, you're just another freak... like me!"

Justice League of America - 2010!

I don't think any show could come close to the animated Justice League. As for a Justice League movie... I'll have to wait and see what develops. Personally I'd rather have Bale and Welling in for the roles of Bats and Supes respectively (and I'll probably get flack for that last one, but I...

    Heroic Dilemma: Help Us!

Sounds more like the GM thought "hey, this would be a really cool scenario!" Personally, I'd more inclined to stick it out and fight here and now. Just have to get creative in getting past those annoying tin cans is all ;) And not a personal slap at your character, but to quote everyone's...

    Your favorite d20 System variant?

Another vote for Star Wars Saga Edition as overall favorite, with Mutants & Masterminds 2nd edition close behind.

Knights of the Old Republic Campaign Guide

Some do. I was at a friend's house a few weeks back and one of the players had a pirated copy of a WFRP sourcebook printed out, since it had some talent that he wanted for his character, and the GM strictly follows the rule of "if I don't have the book, you don't get the ability."
