Most of the comments I made about the validity of such a book ever being produced were back during the "Great SWd20 Lull," well before there were even rumors of a new edition, nor initially was there a comic book set in that era (which has only been around for just under two years I believe).

I posted this over on SWRPGNetwork, and probably should have posted it here as well. Despite past comments about the validity of such a book (especially with no new video games for the era in the offing), I'm certainly looking forward to it.

Yeah, but as the semi-official errata states, fixing it up is a lot harder and the ship is more prone to be damaged, making the purchase of a used ship quite a headache for low-level PCs as that -5 penalty can be pretty daunting if a character isn't a dedicated grease-monkey.

Also darn handy for Warblades, in being able to "swap out" manuevers on the fly to better suit what you're fighting, especially given the low number of readied manuevers they get in the first place.
