It's fairly easy to challenge players while staying consistent and within the rules of the game. As a matter of fact, there are a huge number of suggestions in this thread on how to deal with the teleport issue, without having to resort to bending (breaking) the rules.

As for the article, it would indeed blow my mind if 5e was announced at Gencon this year. 4e announcement was a huge event, with countdown on the WotC front page for days up to Gencon, and I don't see WotC choosing to make a new edition a low-key event. Don't get me wrong, I like/love 4e, but...

Do people often walk out of your games?

i have always treated it as an Immediate Interrupt, since it otherwise could prove fairly useless, if the players have very varied powers. This way, at least it gets the reduction once.

I have an iPad that I have been using for playing dnd since it (the iPad, not dnd!) came out. As I player I use the website iplay4e, which allows me to upload my CB files and run my character from there. As a DM (main function), I use an app called Index Cards to make my adventures. Basically...

Danny, it seems to me that the solution for you would be to get an iPad or similar tablet and download the articles when released. That way you can keep them even if you cancel your sub, and you can access them in Russia and in the US during a power outage.
