Sure it does. My point is quite simple. Nymrod make a claim that good modules makes a system, citing Pathfinder as an example. I told him that I disagree on the primary reason why Pathfinder has been the success that it has been. I really do not see anything confrontational about it. /shrug

Paizo's adventures didn't "make" Pathfinder. WoTC did - First by making 3.x via the OGL, then by making 4e, an edition that a lot of people didn't like. ;)

5-6 months is the number most often quoted in this business afaik. At least when we are talking about WotC-sized companies.

Not sure I am completely sold on the proposition. IMO; healing should be in function of your hit points, so that no matter your level, it takes the same amount of time to heal up, baring magical help. For example, you could do a dial that looks vaguely like the following: Old school play...

Maybe they have been listening all along, but for whatever reason, it hasn't been high on their list of priorities. Perhaps they felt they needed to figure out how the exploration and interaction rules would work, before they gave the classes the ability to use such rules?

Everyone in next will regen - sort of. They are removing HD and changing it to regen. Then the DM can decide how fast it should be, depending on what type of campaign he wants. Like oldschool, hardcore would be 1 hp/day and superhero over-the-top would be like 1 hp/10 min.

That would have been the worst way to do things. People would have been mad, because they would have to pay twice for the same books. Really bad idea.
