    Why is there treasure?

The way I see loot is this..... With intelligent creatures, it is something that is actively gained over time, whether it be for status, greed, or the accumulation of power. Depending on the creature, it can be gained either through scavenging found items, or actively stealing it from others...

I can be silent no more.

I tried eating Vegan once. But he screamed and ran away when he saw the knife. Seriously though, While I myself am not exactly skinny (290lbs, 6'2") I agree that most people who classify as morbidly obese are like that solely due to their own lifestyle choices. The fact that society tacitly...

What happens if you miss your flight?

A friend of mine was up from New York and missed her flight home. She got the dates mixed up and actually went to the airport the day AFTER her plane left. She had to pay for a whole new ticket and had to pay the "I need a ticket home right now and am stuck so you can get away with demanding my...

    Internet Grammar Pet Peeves

Regardless (not irregardless), ;) It still bothers me when people use it. Kind of like when people eat Zesty Cheese Doritos. They smell like feet.

    Internet Grammar Pet Peeves

It's voila. A viola is a musical instrument. A small violin IIRC. :) What bothers me most is when people use "enormity" to denote size.

    What do I do now?

Is the player willing to sacrifice one of the personalities to further the character? What I mean is.... have one of the personalities (player's choice) remain in the body. The other is removed and believed to be gone when in fact it lives on as a non corporeal being. Everyone is unaware of...

    Moral Quandary....SOLVED! :)

For the sake of being totally clear, I feel I should add some details.... The system was purchased second hand and did not come with an OS. The installation that we received (WinXP Pro) was accepted in good faith as being legit. (if you can't trust your friends......). Upon discovery, we looked...

It's not just great... it's PENULTIMATE!

I find it ironic that the song "Ironic" had nothing to do with irony...unless of course the title "Ironic" was in fact pointing out the irony of the lack of irony in the song "Ironic". wow... head hurts now....

Truly 'Homebrew' - Using Local Area IRL to create Fantasy Settings

Bob Salvatore ( in his Corona novels) used Eastern Canada as the baseline for the known world map... I believe Northern California and Nevada were used as the settings in the Fallout and Fallout II video games... maybe you could get some ideas there....

    Attack the orphanage!

Think swarming..... two dozen 8 year olds or more.... they can cause some wicked damage.... especially if they hav makeshift weapons (brooms, buckets, mops, kitchen knives, etc.) You could also have a few of them act as meatshields for the BBEG.... that would cause some moral quanderies for the...

    Mac Vs. Pc Commercials

I understand the principle behind it, and in some cases, when a direct advantage can be shown, I can tolerate it.... however, in the case of the Mac V. PC commercials, as well as others like Pepsi V. Coca Cola, where no clear advantage can be seen other than a "drink our pepsi cuz it's better...
