Use the Region of Dreams/Dal Quor (Eberron) approach; EVERYONE's conscience travels to the Dreamscape when they sleep. It's actually how dreams are shaped. In fact, while traveling in the Region of Dreams/Dal Quor, you might stumble into some other creature's dream.

Not for me, but only because I started playing before the basic set was even known to me, or at least before it was released. I did turn my little cousin on to D&D with the 3.5 basic set.

You might want to take a look at Heroes of Horror which has a number of feats associated with dreams (i.e. - oneiromancy, dreamtelling, improved oneiromancy). For the most part, though, dreams are something you that allows you to sort of wave your hands at the rules. Some suggestions in Heroes...

That's the one thing I haven't figured out yet. I can get individual forums, including the News forums, but I can't figure out how to capture everything on the front page from one feed. I did find one thing, but I got a message saying something about not being allowed to see future news items.

A trick I've used is to bring a map in as a background object. This allows you to freesize the map to the grid for fine-tuning the alignment. Generally, I'll start with the grid first, get it close enough, then resize the map (while holding the Shift key) to get it more exact.

I honestly think the Action Point idea if the way to go. It really emulates those one-shot tricks Legolas pulls in the LotR movies. He doesn't need the feats per se, just to emulate the feats using an Action Point.

So Skill Challenges are just prestructured ways for the PCs to use multiple skills to resolve an encounter? It sounds more like an idea rather than an actual mechanic. Either way, it's pretty cool, but I don't think it's anything new that 4e brings to the table that wasn't already done in 3.5...

My concern is that with the OGL or even the d20 STL, 3pp applications could be created and distributed, and those applications allowed users to enter in 3pp data. Under the GSL, there will be no legal means to allow 3pp GSL options in a software application.

I just had a thought regarding the D&D Compendium and the GSL. The GSL restricts development of software. The GSL is designed for other publishers to create D&D compatible options. D&D Compendium probably won't include those 3PP options. See a problem?

Please don't ask me fore a link. It's been in several sources, and I don't know which. Just trust me when I say it. I'm sure others who have been keeping up with 4e have heard/seen the same thing.
