Wow. This story does NOT surprise me. Reminds me of the college age Christian fellowship that I was part of years back. The revival of Bane goes without saying, since it restores something which never should've been taken away in the first place ;) You BET that little aspect of the Realms came back in my campaign. Oh boy, did it come back!!!! :)

In my campaign, I had to enforce the Dumb Name Syndrome (or DNS for short), in which I decided that if anyone was going to give their target...er..PC a dumb name, that it was a sign that the player wasn't taking the campaign seriously, and thus would be marked for an early death. That may sound...

Another Realms-Shaking Event? Geez. Yet something ELSE I'll need to ignore, then. As much as I love the Realms, I really, really, (really!) hate the way events are handled. Either nothing happens, or the entire world changes. The gods fight each other! Some of them die! Some stupid putz takes...
