The cynical part of me adds that I think that females are encouraged to play rogues and sorcerers because a) Rogues wear lots of leather, and b) Sorcerers require high Charisma and don't wear any of that pesky body part-covering armor. :]

I still use a lot of my 2E stuff for info on the Realms, with adjustments thrown in for 3E. Heck, I still use my Moonsea supplement to run campaigns in that area! I also agree that Volo's and Aurora's are extremely useful. My only problem with the Volo series is that I find the titular character...

Nahhh....I don't watch AD....The name Steve has stuck in my head because of two reasons: 1. I once read some parody thing that had the tagline: "Terror has a new name, and it's 'Steve'!" 2. An episode of Dave the Barbarian has this amazingly funny non-sequitir song about "Steve the Egg". Hey...

If, on the other hand, his god condones, even encourages, the destruction of evil, then I'd say no penalties need be levied. If that little SOB was in on it, he's evil, pure and simple.
