    Who Are They?

Does anyone know of a link where we can see images of them? (I don't get Dungeon.)

    The green dragon breath weapon

Although now it looks like holding your breath for any inhaled poison doesn't fly. Ala SRD: "Holding one’s breath is ineffective against inhaled poisons; they affect the nasal membranes, tear ducts, and other parts of the body." http://www.d20srd.org/srd/specialAbilities.htm#poison

    Marshal's skills

I think you're right. This link to WotC doesn't specify which Knowledge skills, so I'd assume all of them too. http://www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=dnd/ex/20030906b

    improved sniping?

The Halfling Rogue substitution levels from Races of the Wild give that same sniping ability (Hide penalty of -10 instead of -20) at 10th level instead of a Rogue Special Ability.

Midnight: Crown of Shadow... Larry, et al. keep out! ;)

    Awesome, thanks for the tip!

Does this character seem as cool to you as it does in my head?

That's a pretty slick idea! I think it's very fair to change the flavor of the abilities while keeping the mechanics the same. Bards singing to help their allies always seemed silly to me, so my GM let me say instead of singing for Inspire Courage it'd be shouting orders sort of like the...

Midnight: Crown of Shadow... Larry, et al. keep out! ;)

Hi, I'm trying my hand at GMing the Midnight campaign "Crown of Shadow". Do either people who have GMed or played in that module have any advice, comments, etc. Also, since I've never played or run a Midnight campaign before any words of advice, helpful pointers, etc. would be great. Thanks all!

    Races known to be slavers?

I don't know if they're slavers but don't aboleths have hordes of humans to turn into skum? Maybe they get them by kidnapping or maybe it's from dealing with slavers.

What race would you like to see?

Unearthed Arcana has the Spryte race that's just that! (Although I think they have the humanoid type, not fey type.)

    [d6 Star Wars] Inspirational supplements?

If you're doing a homebrewed galaxy it may not fit but I really liked the books on different species (Galaxy Guides 4 and 12 and one big one that which I can't remember the title of). For running a game Wanted by Cracken could be pretty helpful. It had lots of villainous NPCs.

    Gnomish Rogue substitution levels

That's what I thought but wanted to make sure I didn't overlook something. Thanks!

What race would you like to see?

I'd like to see the old mold men from 2nd Edition. They always intrigued me. When my friends and I were getting out of Hero Quest and into D&D we made stats for a HQ mold man character. It could be pretty fun to play one in the right setting.

    Evil PCs?

If my gaming group wanted to try out an all evil campaign, I'd give it a shot. But I prefer playing a hero (at least Neutral, usually Good). That said, in a party with some Good and some Evil characters I don't understand how the party would ever stay together. Unless the Evil characters are...

Ever had a piece of art inspire a character?

I found this little china cup in a curio shop by my house and it inspired a 7th Sea buckaneer character who wore the scarf because of a nasty cutlass wound to his mouth/jaw. It turns out it was actually a likeness of a famous English highwayman, Dick Turpin.

Most Unexpected/Funny Ways the PCs Killed A Creature

One time my friend who regularly ran Call of Cthulhu for us, ran another Cthulhu game with characters that he premade. He let us chose our characters by description alone, describing them as a "boyfriend and girlfriend" (the boyfriend being "an skilled at driving"), a genius "knowledge expert"...

Two quick thoughts about all these new fangled base classes . . .

I'm not sure if I'd go so far as to say you can make ANY concept but I think you can come pretty close. One of my favorite things about D&D is coming up with a concept and working with the different classes and PrCs so that it works. Sometimes you do have to make decisions (not get full caster...

    Gnomish Rogue substitution levels

Hi folks! Are there any Rogue substitution levels, specifically for Gnomes? Thanks!

    The New Rules Cyclopedia

I started playing 2nd Ed. D&D with a similar product (although much more simple than what you're suggesting). It had some premade characters, rules for playing the game, four adventures and two very thin spellbooks (one wizard and one cleric). It was a great introduction for my group into D&D...

    Construct-making PrC?

There was another thread out there with the same question and someone mentioned the Kingdom of Kalamar Player's Guide.
