    Dragon Shaman Breath Weapon

Is the Dragon Shaman's breath weapon considered a spell-like ability for feat purposes? If not, what is it considered and can any feats be applied to it? Thanks!

lol, that is deliciously, adolescently brilliant! Kudos!

    Manyshot with a crossbow

That's what I've thought too. Not that illustrations indicate a gaming law but that's the way Manyshot is depicted in a picture in the PHB. And it explains why both arrows use the same attack roll.

    Hunter of the Dead

I can think of some possible reasons: --If the PrC provided straight continuation of existing spellcasting class, it could make the character too powerful. Good BAB, saves or special abilities may keep the PrC balanced and the addition of increased caster level and spells could unbalance it...

    Grapple Opportunities

Removing the size restrictions altogether would be even better! But I'd definitely agree that the size bonus/penalty should still be used. I ask because I made a Fighter totally geared towards grappling but somehow overlooked the size limit clause. Which made a pretty ineffective melee...

    Grapple Opportunities

As listed by SRD; the rules state that "You automatically lose an attempt to hold if the target is two or more size categories larger than you are." Since most characters are Medium, that means that no matter how excellent they are at grappling, the largest foe they could grapple would be a...

    Hunter of the Dead

Ah, I hadn't seen that spell before. You're probably right then, not really worth it. Thanks!

    Vow of Poverty

Apart from the booty divvying, are there any other RP restrictions that spring to mind as being ignored/worked around?

    Vow of Poverty

The SRD describes a Divine Focus as: "The divine focus for a cleric or a paladin is a holy symbol appropriate to the character’s faith." Could the character have a tattoo of the symbol as his divine focus?

Ah, I thought maybe that's what you were getting at. I forgot to mention I was assuming having Rapid Reload too.

    Hunter of the Dead

So that power would negate that whole "find and destroy the lich's phylactery" thing in order to destroy it? That's pretty slick, I imagine. So you'd consider it worth the lost levels of cleric?

    Tiny PC races

That's a good idea, but that seems too meta-powergamey to me. And I prefer to keep my powergaming as pure as possible! ;)

    Manyshot with a crossbow

The Manyshot feat specifies that "As a standard action, you may fire two arrows at a single opponent within 30 feet." (Emphasis added.) Since crossbows use bolts instead of arrows, I'd say it couldn't be allowed technically. Besides RAW, is there any game unbalancing reason not to allow...

    Vow of Poverty

Hi all, what do you think of the Vow of Poverty? Do you think a VoP character is overpowered, underpowered or on par with a character of the same class who can own items and magic items? Does your answer to the above change if you consider different classes? (i.e., A VoP monk seems much...

    Hunter of the Dead

Hi everybody, What do you all think about the Hunter of the Dead PrC's fifth level ability? To paraphrase, any undead killed by a 5th level HotD (by either weapons or magic) are completely destroyed forever. It sounds pretty nifty and useful, but would it really have much effect in a game? I...

    Rules Questions Regarding Alchemical Fire

I don't know the RAW, but I would just have it apply to the regular damage but not the splash damage. I could see doing extra damage to the target because you really heaved the flask at him. And it seems far fetched that the impact from the mighty throw would be strong enough to hurdle shards...
