What do your players do with thier dead foes?

Bodies are pretty good for luring out lurking predators, setting off traps, etc.

    Greyhawk question

I couldn't find any either when I was running a game in it, so I just used a map of 17th century Roermund: http://grid.let.rug.nl/~welling/maps/roermond.jpg It's possible I still have a key to major locations around somewhere.

    ENWorld-Appropriate Dating Question

I wonder if this is the Asian beauty contest circuit. I briefly had a roommate who told me she was an Asian beauty contestant. "What, like in Hong Kong, Taiwan?" "No, mostly here in California." We look at each other uncomprehendingly for a second. "Ohhh... so like beauty contests for like...

    Mongoose Publishing's Rep...?

I saw that in the store last week - I didn't notice the editing but it seemed like a rather pointless RPG, especially for a hardback.

    ENWorld-Appropriate Dating Question

Tricky, depends on many variables. Note that many women have a SPECIAL TELEPHONE HANGUP. According to the SPECIAL TELEPHONE HANGUP, you are not allowed to call the woman specifically to ask her out unless you clearly solicited the telephone number in a dating manner. It is important to...

Odin, Thor, and Loki are Babylonian deities!!

That's more or less the usual modern interpretation, not unique or original to Asimov. Personified tribal eponym stories are so common in ancient literature (and "oral traditions") that it could almost be considered a genre. The degree to which ancient contemporaries viewed them as factual is...

Arabs thus tend to express much consternation when accused of anti-Semitism. :)

    Pope on last legs.

It's not anything to do with witnessing or performing the miracle, it's intercession to get the miracle done. The Catholic Encyclopedia is out there for your googling pleasure, and it's quite adequate for explaining the canonical process (http://www.newadvent.org/cathen/02364b.htm if googling is...

    Do you mark your books?

I hardly ever write in a book, unless I lend it out to someone with a known poor memory.

    Pope on last legs.

Hunter S. Thompson is being cannonized, and I don't think he even has one miracle yet.

"But I'm THIS close to a new level..."

We would usually let a player who was very close to a level take it as sort of an advance on the next session.

    Warhammer Fantasy Role PLay

Yeah, but it's 200 xp. 100 xp to take a normal exit when you've finished a career, or 200 xp to jump out into another basic career, with the exceptions of Estalian Diestro, Kislevite Kossar, Noble, and Norse Berseker. It allows for exceptions to those though, like in one of our old games we...

WARHAMMER FRPG - I have it!

I kind of remember there was some problem with two-weapon fighting, and maybe that was it. That has been changed, I believe, though I don't remember the 1st ed rule very well. In 2E, you can only get 1 parry per round, but the 2nd weapon allows you to take the 2nd weapon parry as a free action.

No, but his last name is "El".

    Wandering books and sticky fingers

Write your name on the inside cover. It seems to me like people do that all the time anyway just so they don't get their RPG books mixed up.

    Warhammer Fantasy Role PLay

Most aren't extremely different, though they're better balanced. Some of them make more sense now, like the military careers. There are more Wizard/Priest careers but not divided up into different types like "Druid" or "Alchemist" any more. I think there are a few more race-exclusive classes too.

3.0 seems to have had about the normal mortality rate when I was playing.

Odin, Thor, and Loki are Babylonian deities!!

It's the "Did you know" preface to a highly uncertain piece of information that ever draws my attention. Like "Did you know paladins suck?"
