What kind of tactics? Avoid anything "hard-hitting" so you don't have to relly on healing? I'm sure of something though...when one of the PCs is a cleric, I design more brutal encounters and when they got no active healer, combats are softer and shorter.

Oh, a June release, that's very nice. They do not for Spanish version, and sometimes they use different translators, so important terms get different names, like, Barbarian Rage ends as "Furia" or "Rabia", which is a bit confusing. I'm going to e-mail DeVir and see if we got to wait till...

I would be happy with the monk and the druid, my favoriute 3.x classes. Monk for the mechanics/fluff, druids for the fluff (not the broken mechanics).

I've been reading that is a striker too, but that article says it's not a martial striker...so we will see. If there has to be a melee controller, I think it should be the monk, with the barbarian being a hybrid between defender and striker (maybe).

What role is the monk going to fit then? Melee controller...? With many single-target crowd controls to "spam" all around? Hurm.

The fluff leads to think that the attack is negated. There's a similar maneouver at B9S and I rule like it negates the attack. I'm going to rule that it negates the attack till we get more information. EDIT : Very nice review, thanks for testing it!

Prerequisites: Humanoid, level 11. The Pit Fiend is a large humanoid (devil). Would the template be perfectly legal, then? It seems that many, many things are "humanoid" now.

1) The lich seems quite weak, compared to 3.x Lich. Maybe we need more text on it or something, but I don't see it as powerful as in 3.5. I guess it doesn't fit clerics anymore. 2) That Einstein comic is awesome.

For mechanical purposes, the DM is considerated level 66 (for the Primordial tier).
