Do people enjoy reading campaign blogs?

I wanted to write one, but considering I barely DM 1-2 times a month, the lack of updates could turn potential writers off. About reading, I'm a bit short on time, but I'd really like to take a look at some, mostly for inspiration and such.

Keep on the Shadowfell Anticlimax(some spoilers)

I wonder if they dream of bone sheeps...

    Your ideal setting

I was writing this very long post about what I like, and I noticed I can really simplify it. Get Eberron, nuke it. Done.

    Proud Nails?

You are agreeing with me, then.

    Proud Nails?

But that makes it too good probably, to the point of a rogue holding a cold wand in his left hand (dagger on right hand), thus giving his powers the cold keyword, which combined with Wintertouched feat becomes a bit abusive. I don't know if this is strictly possible, but it gives you an idea to...

How much face-to-face 4e have you played so far?

I have only been able to DM once so far, but I explained mechanics, character designs, roles, powers, etc., my players created their characters and we played a bit. I think they did four encounters, being one of them quite long. I think we got past 7 hours, however, we watched the second half...

    Proud Nails?

I thought this was proved to be false. The wand keyword only works for the wand powers, when activated. A wand with cold keyword (because it has a cold related power) doesn't let you add the keyword "cold" to all your powers. EDIT : Ninja'ed by a ship :(

For A Player - Paladin of Avandra

The channel divinity feats require the Channel Divinity feature, not granted by the multiclassing feat, so it shouldn't be possible to get those feats, unless I'm missing something.

How to Play the Sarcastic Hero

Nice catch, genious. --- Autolycus (Xena, Hercules), another character starred by Bruce Campbell, is also sarcastic and the source of many potentially sarcastic/interesting characters. I usually don't play sarcastic characters. I got enough trying to contain myself from being overly...

    Underused Monsters

The wording about human flesh is "a person who[...]". I didn't feel it was needed to include it. You know, tacit meaning. A halfling is a person (not an animal, a plant, etc.), so eating human flesh makes him an anthropophagus (a cannibal).

    Underused Monsters

Spanish conquerors arrived to the Caribbean islands and called their natives "Caribas" or "Canibas". Human fleash eating tribes. Concepts like evil or good were unexistant for them, they just survived. Now, the stories about cannibalism could have been grossly exaggerated back then. It's easier...

    Underused Monsters

The origin of the word cannibal comes from Spanish (From the word "Caribs") and it equates anthropophagus. Considering halflings, elves and humans are all humanoid (they are not animals) I'd say that eating halflings, elves and humans is basic cannibalism. If cannibalism is eating your own...

4th Edition made a great Paladin...

One of my players really wanted to play a paladin (dwarven or dragonborn) but he wasn't sure about where to place stats. He wanted to try strength/wisdom as main, but we checked a few powers, and charisma was still important... I couldn't help him much, so he went for a Dwarven warrior. The...

    Underused Monsters

Hurm. Spanish definition talks about human flesh (anthropophagus). I'd consider halflings, elves, dwarves, etc. "human" for the definition of cannibal. Is there something else I'm missing?

    Underused Monsters

Cannibal halflings, right? At Baldur's Gate 2, inside the Planar Sphere, you fight some of those. They are the only kind of halflings that make me want to place them as monsters...but still. Ah, that's it, for the next game, I'm placing wood elves and halflings as monsters.

    Underused Monsters

Anyone uses halflings as monsters? For some reason, I feel unable to put them as monsters. Maybe I think they are too cute to be slain or something like that.

    D&D 4E Favorite 4E classes(all)

Well, I really like the monk, but as for 4e, rogue. Again, I'm just a DM and my chances to ever play 4e are close to 0, but if I could play, I'd play a rogue, no doubt.

    DMs! Who are YOUR composers?

Well, if unlimited resources means finding a way to resurrect people, then yes, I'd go with Basil Poledouris too. I'm still annoyed that imdb.com didn't have a special thingy for when he died, like when they do when actors and similars die.

Fox's Cunning would be great if it was an interrupt. The enemy attacks -> shift and the attack instantly misses.

Dragonborn Fighter looking for Tips and Tricks

About roleplaying a Dragonborn, a very specifical character comes to my mind. Wrex from Mass Effect (X360 and PC game by Bioware). At first glance, he appears to be the typical stupid brutish mercenary type, but with time, you discover he's very clever, honourable, loyal and fierce. Which kind...
