I have never liked the concept of alignments affecting the game mechanically-wise. But then a barbarian/monk doesn't make much sense... I removed alignments a long time ago and never looked back. I keep certain restrictions, but those don't affect paladins. I embraced Unearthed Arcana paladins.

Diablo 1 atmosphere is more in the scary side, that creepy soundtrack, the sound of skeletons, the arrows flying, yeah, probably better overall. I got the soundtrack around, I love to play it while dungeon crawling.

I understand the concern of some people, hitting lower armored enemies to get some damage in against the high armored enemies, but I guess we need to wait for the full description of the power. Maybe the predefined encounter balance doesn't leave much room for this "exploit", like, all enemies...

But Diablo 1 was just a dungeon under a town (Tristam). Diablo 2 has Rogue camp, Lut Gholein, Kurast docks, the Heaven's last fortress and then Harrogath, the Barbarian town...all those places totally surrounded by the evil forces.

Let's not forget that alignments won't have any impact mechanically wise (Different alignment paladins, alignment based spells removed, etc.) As it should be.

I was surprised to see that intellect doesn't have any impact on skills, although we still need to see the full pack of rules, but doesn't seem the case right now. I think the Warlord requires intellect too, but, what would be the difference between a clever rogue and a dumb one now?

I voted for "A" because I think that with the addition of powers, we may see a reduced number of feats for each class, so feats should only give benefits. The risk vs reward is already there (by picking this feat and not others) and I think the writing is simple, clean and effective.
