When did you preorder, is it gift set?

I think I will go for the +4 to attack, no dexterity on damage for a while, and see how it turns to work.

Blade Cascade having no limit of attacks is kinda silly.

First "public" game reports said +4 to attack, dex mod to damage. Then, for the DDXP I think it was +4 to attack, no dex to damage. Now it's +2 and no dex to damage. It's very weak. I'll be considering pumping it back to +4 and no stat on damage.

I would say it would be fine. Let's remember that the [flurry] feat has a requeriment of dexterity 19, which is quite high, considering a melee ranger will want to have high strength and wisdom.

Warlock = Secondary Controller. Ranged rangers got a few close burst effects, but not sure if that counts, since they don't have sliding or pushing effects (I think).
