I think it'd be cool if they start out humanoid-shaped (you are what you eat), but once you bloody them they revert to a true form, full of tentacles and eye-shaped stars and such.

Stunned =/= unconscious, so the dragon couldn't have coup de graced anybody. You can only do that to someone who is helpless. Unless of course the dracolich really did have attacks that knocked you unconscious. There might be one of those in the 4e Draconomicon - can't remember.

My current 4e game started at the launch of 4e and will probably finish up around June/July, so that's roughly a year. Previously I've had games run a few months up to a year, though I GMed a RIFTS game that went off-and-on for 2 years.

So, what do you get done in 3 hours that keeps your players coming back week after week? More/fewer encounters? Something else? Agreed wholeheartedly!

I actually think most of the minis will look a lot better in-hand. I'm especially psyched for that tiefling warlord. He just looks so badass IMO. I'll probably pick 'em all up.

Truth! 4x claws on one PC is some serious pain, and probably the best way to go in most situations. I can see some actual deaths coming out of fighting this bad boy, instead of just KOs.
