    Fiery Dragon Productions: Awesome

What are these counter trays you speak of? I can't find them on their webpage. I own all of the counter packs/collections except the Diamond Throne pack. They are excellent. Nick

    Magical Medieval Society

I'll be ordering it tomorrow. I've decided to get the .pdf because it's cheaper and tomorrow is the last day I have access to my university's printing facilities. ;) Nick

    Blackmoor or Wilderlands?

I started playing D&D with the Cyclopedia before moving on the 2nd Ed. AD&D. As such, I never even heard of Blackmoor or the Wilderlands until recently. I'm in the market for a new campaign setting that still uses a lot of the typical D&D tropes (planes of existence, devils and demons, ect.)...

    D&D 3.x [3.5] Cover Rules

Re: Re: [3.5] Cover Rules I noticed that, but the text for soft cover on the same page mentions melee attacks. That confused me. I'm just going to apply the rule to missile attacks in the same way. I see no need to do it two different ways. Nick

    Magical Medieval Society

I've been thinking about picking this up. Does the revised .pdf version differ from the print version at all? Thanks, Nick

Book of Erotic Fantasy previewed at GenCon

Sithramir, I don't know what a GAPS email is. Fill me in please. I'm not there just yet but I've been changing all my online addresses anyway. I move this Friday actually. I'd love to get together for some gaming. I hope to start a new campaign in either Greyhawk or the Warcraft setting...

Joe, Did anyone at Alderac mention a release date for the Warlords of the Accordlands books? Thanks, Nick

Book of Erotic Fantasy previewed at GenCon

I can't imagine something like that ever seeing use in my games. Ah well, good luck to them anyway! Nick

I played my first game of Cthulhu last night

I love Call of Cthulhu. Too bad I dislike BRP system heavily and I'm not too happy about the D20 implementation (the magic system is so lovely but the character creation system is so bland). Glad you had a good time! Nick

    D&D 3.x [3.5] Cover Rules

It makes sense that way. I'm going to be running it as such. Nick

    D&D 3.x [3.5] Cover Rules

I've reread the text on page 151 again. Right under the attack roll modifiers table, the text says "when making a melee attack against an adjacent target, your target has cover if any line from your square to the target's square goes through a wall (including a low wall). I bet the text that...

    D&D 3.x [3.5] Cover Rules

Re: Re: [3.5] Cover Rules On page 151 under soft cover, the text says that "creatures, even your enemies, can provide you with cover against melee attacks..." I agree that the big creatures and cover text not mentioning ranged weapons is most likely an oversight. Nick

    D&D 3.x Am I missing something (shapechanging in 3.5)

You gain the Str, Dex, and Con of whatever creature you turn into with polymorph. Nick

I agree with Hypersmurf on this one. Nick

Tiny creatures, AoOs, and 5' steps

I don't think you can avoid the AoO when moving in on a grappling or bullrush if you take just a 5' step. I think that moving into someone's square is an example of a specific action that provokes an attack of opportunity rather than an attack of opportunity that arises from moving in...

    Warcraft RPG Previews

When I was playing video games (I'm trying to kick the habit), I didn't play Warcraft since I never liked RTS, but I always loved the way it looked and the energy the setting had. I'm looking for a new campaign setting anyway, so I might give it a try. I really did the art. Nick

    D&D 3.x [3.5] Cover Rules

In 3.0 it was attacks of opportunity. Now, the cover rules baffle me. I really need help understanding the cover rules. After reading page 150 to 152, this is how I think they work. If any corner from your square to any corner of the opponent's square passes through a square or border...
