    Yea, if they are going to be here soon, seems best to stand and fight now..make what preparations we can and hope to survive the attack. If we survive, we'll have at least an hour to make a run for the ship. 1st level..no magic items yet. So, just about anything is better than what I have now.

    If there are any left in the tower, they probably will wait to attack us when we enter. But beware the woods, that'd be the most likely origin of an ambush out here. Fredrock says as he moves to guard against any attack originating from the woods.
