Please expound. I once tried to develop a Mass Effect game for GURPS. I ran into problems when some races, specifically asari and krogan, ended up with massive point costs.

Flash was the other possibility. There are definitely enough races, but what would they do for classes? Football player, news reporter, and mad scientist?

Just putting that out there. It's a space opera that's not Star Wars. And there's a huge overlap between D&D fans and Bioware fans. There are a few other possibilities but Mass Effect seems to be the best fit. What do you think?

I would love to see Rich Burlew's campaign setting. Unfortunately, I don't think he's doing that much work nowadays and probably wouldn't get involved.

Calm down dude, D&D tournaments have existed since the beginning. Wizards is just renewing their commitment to sponsoring them. You don't have to go if you don't like it.

They still do that at Gen Con. Although the dungeons are a little less deadly than Tomb of Horrors. They're still brutal, but fair. If tournament organizers start allowing players to bring their own fortune cards, that could cause a problem. Although I don't really see these fortune cards...

What browser and OS are you using? I'm running Windows 7 on a laptop that was top of the line about four years ago. I've found the CB is glitcy on Opera but works fine on Internet Explorer.

Assuming the flight effect has already worn off, there is no way for the character to choose which way he falls (besides throwing heavy objects in the opposite direction). If you want to go for "realism," then option 2 seems the best.

I could see using them instead of action points. If you add one level of complication, it would make sense to take away another. But my players love their action points, and I don't think they'd want to lose them in favor of something random and uncontrollable.
