    Serpent's Skull support materials

You might want to consider Atlas Games Nyambe d20 book. It's not Golarion, but there might be some ideas you can borrow from there if you are interested in expanding or customizing the adventure. You can find it for a low price at paizo.

Ready for a Pathfinder comic book?

You mean tengu mage/sorceror of course! ;)

Pathfinder 1E Is Paizo the new Palladium? (It isn't!)

I would have to agree with that. High level D&D was much easier to run back in 1E, at least with regard to time it took to work through combat. Later versions, including Pathfinder, tend to slow down at high levels due to the number options available. I have never had an issue in my 3.x or...

Pathfinder 1E Is Paizo the new Palladium? (It isn't!)

You know, them, the nameless panel of mystery experts that people like to refer to when they want to limit the scope of a debate to include only their bias. If enough people make the reference then it can become a fact.

Pathfinder Adventure Review: The Harrowing by Crystal Frasier

I certainly have to agree with this review. This is probably my favorite Paizo adventure to date. I'm really looking forward to running this.

    FoB, Ki point, and speed

I'd have to agree with Starbuck_II. The extra flurry attack you get from expending Ki is not a haste effect so combining it with haste should be fine. That's how our group plays it.

    Tracking sales.

Funny that it allowed you to enter the Pathfinder Beginner Box but not the Essentials Red Box. They're both boxes after all.

    Rise of the Runelord Checklist?

If you're using the Pathfinder rules instead of 3.5 the brief section on Haunts in the PF Game Mastery Guide might be useful as the second adventure in the Rise of the Runelords AP makes heavy use of Haunts and the 3.5 implementation differs from the PF version and you'll want to do some...

    Pathfinder 1E Pathfinder sales

Yep, I agree with you there. The data we get from the SLDMB (Self-locating datum marker buoy) is certainly of a much better quality than ICv2. However, the ICv2 data is somewhere between historical data (the worst) and our real time current data (the best). What we do with our environmental...

    Pathfinder 1E Pathfinder sales

I don't think anyone at all is debating whether or not D&D has been the historical best seller RPG over the last decade. The only thing being debated is whether Pathfinder has recently (in the last few quarters) caught up to and perhaps surpassed D&D in sales. For that we need to look at...

    Pathfinder 1E Pathfinder sales

Your answers are at least related in some way to the two sample discussions. The "cookies in my house" had absolutely no relevance at all. We can debate how much we can read into Amazon rankings or ICV2 data are and that's perfectly fair. However, to simply dismiss all the data as being...

    Pathfinder 1E Pathfinder sales

No, cookies are completely unrelated. It's like me saying in an economics discussion about whether we are slipping back into a double dip recession "I have five cats!". How is that relevant? To give another example, let's you're not feeling well and you go to the emergency room at the...

    Pathfinder 1E Pathfinder sales

Um, yea, but it's not at all relevant to the discussion. Now if you said you had Pathfinder and/or 4E cookies at your house, then maybe it would be relevant. ;-) I assume you're not seriously implying that ICV2 or Amazon rankings and the like are of equivalent significance as the number of...

    Pathfinder 1E Pathfinder sales

But there is data. We can debate how reliable the various data points are, but you really can't deny that ICV2 rankings or Amazon rankings or even anecdotal stories are data. Sure, they all have different degrees of accuracy and none represent perfect information, but they are all still data.

    Pathfinder 1E Pathfinder sales

Speaking of overall sales rank, I was impressed seeing that Paizo's Ultimate Combat was sitting at #97 overall sales rank at amazon.ca last week. Just checked and it's now up to #85. I'm not sure how high RPG titles usually peak, but top 100 in all books seems kind of impressive. It's #461...

    Cheliax and hell

Hell, modeled after the Christan Hell a la Dante and Milton's Hell, has been in the game for a long time since the early days. You could go the 2E approach and rename hell as Baator and devils as Baatezu and so on. I actually preferred the 2E names, but then again, I was a big Planescape fan.

    Cheliax and hell

While the folio map may possibly be a "blown up" version of the world guide map, there is definitely a lot more detailed information with many more towns, sites, islands and the like named. I'm pretty pleased with the map folio. My only issue is that it's too darn big to fit on my walls when...

Pathfinder 1E Paizo Copyright Issues at Obsidian Portal?

So all Paizo fans, silent or not, are therefore fair game as being labeled hypocrites because some hypothetical bad apples, who are also allegedly Paizo fans, didn't show up in this thread and make a stink? Okay.... Perhaps the claim would have more merit if it referred to specific people...

Pathfinder 1E Paizo Copyright Issues at Obsidian Portal?

But they were so polite about their request (and dealing with their community of customers/fans in general) that it is difficult to be outraged. I know that the letter I received was almost apologetic at their being forced to take this action (i.e. to request my removing offending material from...

Pathfinder 1E Paizo Copyright Issues at Obsidian Portal?

Yea, exactly. That or put it behind a password wall so that it is just for the campaign's players. I actually ran into the Paizo IP patrol some time back for doing something very similar - a private web site dedicated to the Rise of the Runelords campaign I was running. I had broken apart...
