I was wondering earlier where our local blackguard IT guy got to.....

I see they dumped alot of the iconic chosen characters so now you can make your own 'chosen of x deity' for yourself....

Once a week I get an emailed coupon for anywhere from 20-30% off one item. And certain things you get an extra 10% off on the price. So, for those things, you get around 40% off rather than the 30% that nonmembers get.

So do I. I don't see the need to drop $25 for a discount card where I'd have to buy a whole lotta books just to break even on it... No clue to the benefits.

Yup. Ate breakfast there nearly every morning. Kept me full and not having to freak about when lunch would be.... I'd either have the restaurant coffee (much better!) or one morning when I overslept and didn't have time for breakfast and took yogurt bars and got coffee at Caribou's at the food...

That coffee they have at Perks (at the Hyatt) tasted like ****. Worst stuff I've ever had.:eek:

I must say I hate that AT&T commercial for their HD service with the idiot who thinks it's cool that "his car's being towed 'in HD' rather than figuring out, like his buddy's pointed out to him, that it's his WINDOW he's looking out, not his tv".... D-U-M-B Talk about a negative INT modifier.

Especially since I didn't book the room; my friend did... We get the International Tower every year since he could no longer get a room on the 2nd floor when they turned those hotel rooms over to directors and such on the con staff (he's not one). Usually I go take pics of costumes each night...
