    PrCs for Fighters and Rogues.

You might want to check out the Scorpion Scion and Serpent Archer from my site: http://www.seankreynolds.com/rpgfiles/prestige/prestige.html Both are suitable for fighters, and while neither advances sneak attack, both would work well for rogues as well.

    GenCon So. Cal.

That would be pretty cool. I'm actually considering taking the train, though, as the station is near my house (and I take it to work in Irvine every day anyway) and it makes a stop in Anaheim. That might be more comfortable for everyone involved. I just dunno how close the train station is to...

[3.5E] New Revision Spotlight - Mummy and Mummy Lord

Here are my concerns about the revised mummy. 1. The hit dice have gone up. That means that any existing adventures that say "The evil high priest has two bodyguard mummies (42 hp)" are suddenly dealing with a much more powerful encounter. This means the revision isn't as compatible with 3.5 as...

Bastards of Blood by Green Ronin

As one of the guys who hashed out the details of the ECL system for the FRCS (which has since been adopted for core D&D), I have to say that all of Owen's thoughts quoted above are spot-on. Hello, Owen, by the way. Good to see you. :)

Has anybody's SVGames order shipped yet?

Mine arrived yesterday, and included the extra item I tacked on four days after my initial order (3/10/03). No problems with the order other than its delay, I just wished they were more communicative.

Anybody Becoming a Fast Forward Lifer?

    Really? Hmm, didn't know that.

Anybody Becoming a Fast Forward Lifer?

I think WotC bought out all of those TSR subscriptions at some point. It was a huge paperwork hassle and I'm sure it was more cost-effective in the long run to buy out the contract than to keep paying in terms of product and manpower to maintain the subscription list.

Sean K Reynolds for Forgotten Realms

Well, PotM presents a wizards' university, complete with what classes you might take and how they'd benefit you, more stuff on alchemy, zodiac magic, other stuff like that. Check out their website for the full info. The elf book is going to have (in addition to new spells, feats, etc.)...

Sean K Reynolds for Forgotten Realms

There's Path of the Magi from Citizen Games, which is in editing. And I'm about to get rolling on an elf book for Reaper Miniatures. Plus several WotC books this year, some of which have my name on them in the proper place (Ghostwalk, Fiend Folio, Unapproachable East), and some which do not...

Sean K Reynolds for Forgotten Realms

I'm not really _feuding_ with WotC, I'm just annoyed with some of the things that have happened recently with books I worked on (I don't want to say any more because I don't want to drag this in the dirt any more than it already has) ... and I have no problems whatsoever with the web team, as...

Your opinions on a monster book idea

Say I'm creating a new d20 book of monsters. Say I have a color illustration for every monster. Say the book runs 32 pages (1 cover, 1 TOC, 30 pages of monsters). Say I include a page of color monster illos that you can print out to be counters a la Fiery Dragon Productions' counters. Would you...

[Gamer's Bag] GenCon Products List Updated

I'd talk to the folks at Chessex and Koplow (dice companies) ... maybe you can get a cross-promotion going ... buy a bag, get X% off dice ... buy Z worth of dice, get Y% off a bag. Consider the player base there: D&D, Vampire, Gurps, and Werewolf. Make sure you have bags suitable for those...

Mortality Radio # 30: Ed Stark interview available...

OT: Awesome disgusting barf picture Sorry to hijack the thread, but wasn't there an early post in this thread or a similar thread where a poster said, "Originally, thoughts of the 3.5E D&D made me feel like this:" and included a disgusting picture of some guy tossing his cookies. Anyone know...

Tome of Horrors overlaps with new Fiend Folio

Hmm, wasn't there a "we don't _guarantee_ we aren't going to ho these" aspect of the agreement? I thought I heard about that at some point. Of course, I'm also seeing this now from the outside. At the time, many of us in R&D were thinking, "You gave them WHAT???"
