Garnet enters the small chamber holding his spear in one hand and raising his lantern in the other. The statue of the lion is somewhat symbolic of this place... forgotten... dissrepair. Leaning his spear against one of the pillars and with his spare hand he weaves a small pattern in the air...

Listening to Maugra, Garnet waits... He is expecting the floor to move, but not really sure what to will happen.

"Even if it has no darts... we still don't know how to work it... do we?" Garnet speaks in a low tone not wanting his voice to carry and alert anyone of their presence.

Still invisible, Aeryk is awe struck as Kaj is crushed... Fearing that the stone creature may sense footsteps he remains still... weapons at the ready. He prepares himself for what seems to be an inevitable onslaught from the gate creature. Ready action - Attack any part of the stone creature...

Aeryk, still invisible, blinks twice as he stares at the sundered gate a little unsure what just occured... strange magic indeed. Aeryk flanks Big as he moves through the rubble and fleshy remains of the "alein" bomb. Aeryk stays alert, knowing all too well that more danger could be lying in...

Aeryk strains to see Big through the fog and recognizes that his marshall ally intends to storm the gate, but Cathan seems to favour retreat. Casting invisibility on himself Aeryk skirts the fog cloud (if possible) and trails Big quietly and hopefully unseen. Should his companions choose...

Garnet moves quickly so that the distracted guard won't notice him and slips inside with the others. Retracing his the steps of their last visit he moves to the cellar way. "Hopefully there won't be any investigators downstairs to bother us."

Under his breath Garnet mutters "I could put him to sleep..." He smiles to himself and is impressed that he would scheme that way.

Aeryk continues to attack the elf maiden. If she would only show him an opening he would finish her... she will make an error, give her time. So long as she continues her assault on Mystic, Aeryk uses her flank to his advantage. Better the mage take her blows then him anyways. I apologize for...

OOC: Can Aeryk see the elven maidens and how much time is remaining on my Gtr. Invis? It has an 8 rd duration, so I assume I have approx 2-3 rounds remaining on it? The other guard is now standing where Canthan was I think so I assume the rest of the party is doing him in?

Aeryk listens to Canthan and whispers that he understands the instructions. He then moves into place and watches for Canthan's signal to strike. Greater Invisibility on himself and move silently +17 and study guard #1 for 3 rounds to gain Death Attack... Surprise Action: Attack with Sword of...

"That shouldn't be a problem give me a moment or two... Big if my attacks should fail I welcome your assistance." Aeryk smiles and casts one of his favorite spells to cloak his movement (Greater Invisibility). He then proceeds to where Kaj saw the two guards.

In a hushed tone. "I too can take the form of an elf... But we have not seen their clothing or if they carry any specific markings. We may need to get a look at them before we can properly disguise ourselves."

"Yum fungus..." Aeryk mutters under his breath as he scans the chamber for exits and any lurking enemies.

Aeryk draws his blades and nods to Kaj as he moves forward. Aeryk remains near the front of the party listening and watching for what may come at them next.

Garnet listens to Maugra's tale and is not surprised by Garn's reply. "Sounds interesting... was there any hint at what wards or guardians may stand in our way?"

It seems interest in this thread has slumped. I take partial blame for that as I have been busy and not diligently posting daily. So I think we will let this game slip into the preverbial pit of unfinished games. I had alot of fun! Catch you all in other games I am sure.
