Can you put the death ward special ability for armor on an amulet of natural armor? If so, how much would it cost?

Do you use a computer program (such as DM Genie)? (poll)

I use DM Genie as a player and DM. Couldn't run a game without it.

    D&D 3.x 3.5 half-celestial at level 1?

Are there existing WotC 3.5 rules to play a half-celestial at level 1, similar to the 3.0 Savage Species method? Or any other LA creature? A new game we're starting up is 3.5 only and does not include any 3.0 books.

Magic items taking damage from falling

In this case, they (and other items) fell when a coffin levitating 100 feet in the air was disintegrated. Oh, and a whole lot of dirt fell with the items. They fell on a floor of heaped, loose earth.

Magic items taking damage from falling

If magic armor or a wand were to fall 100 feet, would they take 10d6 damage and can they be destroyed by the fall?

Core Rules Turning Vs. Complete Divine Variant

Ah, ok. We always played against elite monsters, then (since we run 40 point characters).

Core Rules Turning Vs. Complete Divine Variant

I seem to recall in 3.5 that all monsters with 1 hit die have full hit points. Therefore, the skeletons would have 12 hp each.

How long do your battles take

You're trying to tell me a ninja doesn't always look cool? We're talking Real Ultimate Power(tm), remember.

using props to track initiative - an idea

No, only the DM sees it. When I run my battles, I will state whose turn it is and who is next in line so that they can prepare.

How long do your battles take

We rarely have a combat that takes less than a half hour. In fact, they normally last between 1-2 hours. I think the major battles usually take between 2-3 hours. Our longest battle took about 10-12 hours split between two sessions, and that was a castle siege at 7th or 8th level.

Question on aids to turn undead - check for accuracy

No Eberron or Kalamar, since we aren't in those worlds and have no interest in them. However, all splat books and FR books are fair game since we're in FR.

Question on aids to turn undead - check for accuracy

Well, since it said drummer, I gave it to him as a drum, since that's where that bard's proficiency lies. It's too late there - if I try to take the item back, the player would feel cheated. Also, he has over a +15 on his perform check, so it's automatic for him. And, it doesn't say that it...

Question on aids to turn undead - check for accuracy

Actually, I was wrong - he had a True Holy Symbol, not a Greater Holy Symbol. No, we're not dumping it - they're about 80-85% through it and they have been enjoying it a lot. We're a high combat group and they like the tactical aspect of battlemat play. They also like to get every advantage...

Question on aids to turn undead - check for accuracy

Oh, I forgot to mention he also has a True Holy Symbol from the 3.5 Planes book, which grants a +2 sacred bonus to turn checks (which stacks with his helm).

Question on aids to turn undead - check for accuracy

Yeah, I thought the drumming thing was weird, too. Their bard is actually a drummer, not a strummer, so I let him have it anyways. They're going through Nightfang Spire right now.

Question on aids to turn undead - check for accuracy

I have a player that has really stacked the deck on undead turning. Granted, he spent the money to do it, but it certainly makes the encounters in the module less challenging. He is able to dust three devourers in one turn attempt and his ECL is 12th level. Can you check the accuracy of these...

Why a save for Ray of Enfeeblement?

Weird, because it shows for multiple other creatures as well, such as the Night Hag.
