For me, it is the only thing from the v3.5 era that I actually like. I think it is because (by default) magic is tossed out the window and talent trees are a nice mechanic for class differentiation.

Considering the whole DDI initiative was designed to attempt to tap that monthly subscription market model that World of Warcraft found and used so well for so long, I see no reason for them to stop supporting 4e via DDI as long as people keep buying it.

This too is a good idea, if you want the format of the cards. Honestly, rather than printing cards with the power on them already, I don't know why wizards didn't sell packs of blanks (4 at will, 4 encounter, 4 daily, 4 utility) that you just filled in yourself from the start.

Just to avoid the confusion in my games, and not take away 50% of the weapons for small wizards, I just added the 'small' property to staffs. Problem fixed.
