I downloaded the free annual from RPGNow and was impressed with the tiles. I'll definitely be getting some of the wilderness sets before I DM again. I've got a bunch of Dwarven Forge for dungeon interiors but the wilderness tiles will be really nice for doing outside settings.

When I DM we use squares. Under our current DM we use hexes. The more we use hexes the more I don't like it. I'd rather use squares. Hexes make drawing regularly shaped rooms much to difficult. Then to try to determine if the bad guys is against a wall and people want to flank, what hexes...

My group plays that you can either roll or take the average. We allow re-rolls of 1's until something other than a one comes up. Becuase of the re-roll 1's thing the average goes to 3 for a d4, 4 for a d6, etc. Out of about seven players only one or two regularly roll, most just take the average.

At the end of the 5 page preview on their website it said that it will be available on RPGNow. It does look very cool, too.

I pronounce it DEE-6. I pronounce if Drow as in Cow. My group's current DM has the big bad guys as Yuan-Ti, which he insists on pronouncing "You-La-Tan". We tried to correct him but it doesn't work, so we all decided that a "You-La-Tan" is a version of Yuan-Ti specific to his world.
