    Is the Monk overpowered?

    Who said he's human? ;)

    Best Healer?

Pacifist healer is pure cheese. Don't do it. Choose any other option. Even the gouda-laden artificer is less cheesy.

    Is the Monk overpowered?

The barbarian is hanging on? I can't damage him enough. He gets temporary hit points and DR constantly. I also have a monk in my group (a goliath barbarian and a human monk). Either one shines at different points, but I don't really think it's fair to say they're overpowered. They're just...

    Silly question

No. Besides, a slide is in any direction so there's no difference between forwards/backwards. Can you push backwards? No. Can you pull forwards? No.

    Moving a grabbed creature

I don't think it'd be any easier than trying to escape; in fact, it'd probably be more difficult. Not only is the demon holding tight but you aren't controlling all your buddies limbs. It's certainly not just a strength check either unless you want to kill your buddy by ripping out his arms. So...

    Moving a grabbed creature

There should be some significant but reasonable penalty for this because the obvious case is to drop the opponent into a pit or some such. With the current rules you can't do that. It also you to force flanking. And it allows you to end the hold. So at a minimum you need to break the hold by...

    Kobold Love ?

It's much better for ranged attackers not because you can shift twice, but because you can shift once and then take a full move action to get 'far' away from your attacker (e.g. 7 squares). That can make it much more difficult to be pursued, required your opponent to charge you (MBA and not...

    Kobold Love ?

It's not broken for melee types, but it becomes a must-have for ranged types. Must-have often (but not always) translates into broken. When it really becomes indefensibly broken, however, is when (if?) you start accumulating powers that function as Move actions. It also lets you do some hokey...

    Kobold Love ?

Halflings, no. They were never a 'weak' monster because they were always given PC level capabilities. I still hold firm on gnomes. I think they should be in the same class as kobolds (my opinion) and I'm appalled they have PC stats (again). I can't stands gnomes as PCs. I can't stands it!

    Kobold Love ?

Not IMC, but even so there were different rules, i.e. level adjustments. I don't believe that something akin to an LA will be proposed for 4E.

    Kobold Love ?

Kobolds have always been a weak monster and thus should make a weak race. However, once you do that then it won't work as a good PC race. My opinion is that races like kobolds (and gnomes, quite frankly) should never be PC races because it makes them too strong for how I feel that monster...

DMs: What Powers Do PCs Get That You Hate?

I basically don't like any powers that make a bad guy lame. I don't like grind and such powers are generally an attempt to cause grind. So, whenever that happens the bad guys flee and combat typically ends very quickly. A lot of those times, that becomes anticlimactic for the PCs so my...

How to resolve multiple "at the start of your turn" effects and miss damage

My rule of thumb is that any 'positive' effects go first (e.g. healing, regeneration, warden saves) and 'negative' effects go second (damage, status effects). This is almost always what the player would choose anyway and avoids the unforeseen stupid case where the player could cheese the system...

    When do encounter powers recharge

Yes. In fact, it's encouraged. The only downside to this is when the DM has set some sort of time table into the adventure or perhaps at least is smart enough to start using it (maybe not necessarily to interrupt the party but simply to show the dynamic nature of the world).

Non-random dice are banned at my table. :p

Saving throw bonuses and multiple effects that a single save can end

And yet you didn't answer the question: where is this described? Why does +4 vs. daze&stun work vs. daze&weaken?

    Two questions

This. The two very important points of this are that actions have consequences and that those consequences are reasonable. It may be "just a game" but the game has rules in order to be challenging. It's important not to overreact as DM when someone acts like this player. He may be irritating...

How natural is natural? Best 3 of 6?

I'm with those who say case-by-case basis. With the castle example, standing beside it is not a natural environment IMO, even though only 1-of-6 sides is man-made. The castle is so dominating that it can't be considered natural. Would deer walk up to the wall? No. This type of power...

    Action Point Question

So you could fall three rounds later? I think that's what you're implying, as silly as it sounds.
