They do this and I will bust my dusty SW book off the shelf and dish up some games. I don't like the rebellion era for RPing. I have the same problem playing LotR during the War of the Ring.

I loved Gamma World, but I am not sure if I am going to buy it. I have too much $$$ locked up in games I don't have players for and I am not sure if I want another. I really wanted Testament, but didn't buy for the same reason.

I am glad that Angel and Spike came to terms in one episode. I was annoyed at the constant bickering and was worried they were going to carry it all season. This one episode was fine and I probably would have enjoyed it more if I was not worried about the catty relationship going all season...

Yes, yes I do. I try to have the whole campaign center around my PCs. I do not always do it, but I try to put a few special items I think the players will enjoy.

My history is not with D&D. I played 1E once or twice, 2E 10-15 times. 3E was the first version that really attracted me to the game. By the time you can cast the spells they are nearly worthless. I still believe the ranger should be without spells. No Spells

I don't particularly care either way (and therefore did not vote). All the new Ranger really brings is the bow chain of feats. It has the same flavor and power of the 3.0 ranger. I wish there was no spell casting and some wilderness based abilities, but what do I know, I am just a player.
