I will be quite looking forward to your take on alternative magic. I have been tinkering with the alternative magic system for dnd ever since I started DMing some 10 years ago. It is very hard. At any rate thanks for the kind words.

I have finaly posted it and it is the longest and most detailed review I have yet done of a d20 product. Contrary to my previous history with mongoose products it is somewhat negative. I would be very glad if Sam or Matthew (or anyone else) would like to adress some of the issues I've raised...

You are probably (at least in part) refering to me and my consistently high reviews of Mongoose stuff. Fact is there is no relationship whatsoever between them and me other then the fact that I genuinly like each of their individual products so far. I have started reviewing stuff before buying...

Superior can mean different to different people. In my oppinion Mongoose are superior to wizards in prose quality (something I find quite important) and in evoking the the sense of traditional fantasy (not just very specific brand of DnD fantasy). Now I personaly find those qualities quite more...

It is probably bit too late for a wishlist here but one thing that I would *realy* like to see in the wizard book are the suggestions as to how make all magic more unpredictable and dangerous ala Demonology/Necromancy/C.M. ... or to give guidelines as to how to make integrated magic systems...

Simmilar answer to the most. -Imperial is the best (and has now become easier to get to due to fast Richmond bus). -4th and Arbutus Comic Shop is most convenient (for me at least as I go to UBC). -Big Pete's on Londesdale and 2nd or 3rd in the North Van is often the fastest one to get stuff...

What I am curious about is how will the judges be selected. Are they going to be acknowledged industry people, some community luminaries (like Eric) or in-betweens like Piratecat :) ?
