I always think of 1 point of damage as those inconsequential blows in a battle that leave a mark but don't really hinder the injured party appreciably. I'd say, OP, that you took at least one point of damage. Might as well go do an extended rest. ;)

Nothing stops a player from choosing Deva as the Rev's Past Life, though...feels to me like it's a stupid omission. Warforged, but no Deva?

Heartfelt praise to those players/characters that spend a good amount of time asking other characters for their opinions/ideas, or just to share a story. It almost always leads to good fun and great RP. Good individual character development is, in my opinion, a team effort.
