Damage of a boulder and small monkey...

Improvised weapon no problem, but again the enlarging shouldn't further injure. Also the bigger the boulder, the harder it will be to throw accurately. (Size penalties)

    Gems and magic

While I've seen lots of items that happen to be gems, (Unorthodox line has many of these as bonuses) I'm thinking that for their worth a gem should give a very small bonus. For instance a certain kind of gem could replace xp usage representing magical energy contained within. This gem could...

    Your favorite adventure starting level

Doh didn't read that right when I voted. Voted for 19+ but meant that 19+ is my favourite level to play. To start I prefer around 3rd to 4th level generally.

Is Demon God's Fane worth it? *My players stay out*

I'm also vaguely remembering that my print copy has an error in it which would prevent finishing the dungeon. Been a while though. Anyone else remember more clearly?

4th level spell suggestions for 7th lvl wizard?

Stoneskin is indeed great, but I've noticed that I always avoid casting it due to the costs. Wall of Fire has lots of uses.

Printer Friendly pdf's, What Makes Em Printer Friendly.

rather than removing graphics, just make them lighter and with lots of spots of white. The key isn't no colour so much as low ink usage.

    Review limitations

I have several of The Le's pdfs, and while I was not given them with the expectation of reviews, I'm planning on doing a few. However how much review is too much? I tend to check class balance out by analyzing the levels versus core classes. This takes up a little space and is sometimes hard...

Kids- How do you do it?

My biggest advice is to remember that your children are people. They will be unique and different. While you may find similarities with the behaviours of other children, your children will have their own definition of what is normal. Soon you will know what is normal for your child and be...

    One-line heroes

Waspelvor Windblade, Lord Diatenes, looks up into the stars and wonders where he comes from and what he really is. A true and brilliant elf flees yet again from a legal misunderstanding. The arcranger looks forth at the frozen and untamed land, and ponders whether he will succeed in keeping...

settings, support and your buying dollar!

I would happily buy a campaign setting, IF it was actually interesting to me. FR lost that a while back. Eberron never interested me. Thieves World might interest me. An actual 3.x version of Spelljammer or Dark Sun would interest me (Not that the mini versions qualify as they, ahem, suck)...

Silly Wizard, Polymorph is for Metagamers

Alter self goes half way there by stating the limits to which many things can be changed... I think that this method makes about a thousand times more sense than the current one. I'd love to see shapechange about the physical and not the supernatural. So who wants to work it out?

Of course, I wouldn't expect your cosmology to match my cosmology, as then it would just be your cosmology. ;) I wouldn't say it is atheistic, so much as a different framework. I still have a creator GOD in mind. It's just that the outsider types aren't his direct soldiers. Some of them...

Controlled Epic or High level Non-epic campaigns?

The only horrendous parts of epic play are generating 42nd level npcs... Otherwise it is sometimes less difficult than low level games as the pcs are likely to be much more effective at getting from point a to b.

    D&D movie sequel update.

Actually I have to agree with Barsoomcore completely here. I've seen so many entirely reprehensible fantasy movies, that D&D is nice to watch. The really infuriating things are realizing that as an amateur to the industry he made so many mistakes. Scenes that were necessary were cut, and...

    Another Immortals Handbook thread

I'm finding it very interesting that much of my personal planar overview will be completely contrary to that in the Immortal's handbook. For instance in my viewpoint anything in the regular outsider hierarchy was once a mortal. Freedom of choice is an inherent part of all these outsiders as...
