After seeing some of the hinted powers for PC's and looking over the RPG stat cards for the "Dungeons of Dread" mini expansion, I noticed that many of the powers involve pusing/pulling/shifting/teleporting.... This got me wondering. Will the environment be the most deadly aspect of a battle...

Finished going over all the RPG cards and I got a few (more) questions... 1. Anyone know what the "(Leader)" tag means? For example, the Shade Knight is labeled as "Level 11 Skirmisher (Leader)". 2. What does the "(Hv)" tag next to the fly speed mean? Hover? 3. Some of the abilities...

Thanks Beckett! One more question... how exactly are "Limited Powers" limited? Are these similar to per encounter abilities of PCs (meaning only once an encounter) or are they different? I would tend to think they're different as some have Recharge numbers, meaning you should be able to use...

One thing I can't find the rules on how it works is the "recharge" part of the monsters. I even checked the "PHB Lite" and it wasn't in their. How does it work? For example, the Champion of Baphomet has a power called "Bewildering Bash" with a "Rchg 4". What does that mean exactly?

I like this response best. It's a "power." Something no other person could normally do... maybe not arcane/divine/primal/whatever, but it is more supernaturally oriented than normal. I think feats are a better way to describe super-human stuff in sports. And maybe crits are a better...

Rituals too. Didn't know until now that speak with dead would be a ritual. I don't understand why he would have the party face such a powerful creature, though. Is he trying for a TPK. In my expierence, if you need NPCs in a fight so the party has a chance to live, that isn't a good...

Hmmm... sounds similar to the "Save the City of Cauldron While the Volcano Explodes" chapter in The Shackled City campaign. When I ran the campaign, it was a blast. If you were looking for some more examples there, check out that campaign book. I'd go with... -a mob of angry villagers...
