No multiclass penalties - give favoured class bonus skill point instead... much like someone said earlier. Dumped the double cost for cross class skills. Although the cap remains the same. Threw out the natural healing for hp rules. Didn't/doesn't fit the style of game I was after and required...

Yup... I like to throw in some weaker encounters from time to time. Normally a 'zerg rush' of many weak opponents. Breaks things up a little and allows the PCs to showboat with their skills... Will sometimes do what arwink said, throw in guys who used to give them problems...

I played a 70-85 year old in deadlands... Her age varying depending on who she was speaking too... In DnD, think I've never ventured outside the adult age category... And like some other people, I don't think any of my characters have (naturally) aged more than a year or so in a campaign.

Personally, I'd pump for a drow lich cleric 20. Or bolt in some prestige class... Between the rebuking, phylactery and SR, they're going to be one persistent BBEG? Better still, who don't love healing via mass inflict/harm type spells. :D Possibly try to disguise the fact that it's a lich on...

That's just mean. Can ruin a perfectly good suit that way? Personally, I liked my players use of a paintball gun to 'send a message'.

Personally, I find Death Ward and Freedom of Movement can be real lifesavers? Immunity to negative energy and no grappling. Yay! Very situational, but IMO can be most worthwhile? Mass resist X are also very friendly - guaranteed to make you popular in a party. Very cool idea for a cohort, btw. :)

The 'typical' wizard lich tends to have a weak fort save. No con score and a poor fort save. So spells like disintegration can really ruin their day. But that won't work if they were a cleric or druid... Liches are generally bad news IMO. There's a few special attacks that mess up constructs...
