The group I DMed from 1988-1992 features two main people who passed away, one in 1992 from Hodgkin's Disease and one in 2009 from H1N1. I think of them both often. I dedicated the first book I published to my friend who died in 1992, Josh.

I think this is a great post, but I see here a creative opportunity. A Spelljammer campaign setting could have baked into it a reason why those who have access to spelljamming helms want to keep them hidden when onworld (with an exception for some designated spaceports, destinations, and such)...

My gut feeling tells me the opposite. I think they are at the point where they are comfortable stretching their legs a bit with the game. They aren't out anything by publishing a book that severely limits standard options while presenting other ones. I mean if they want to say no Dragonborn...
