    Cauldroun/Shackled path Dungeon series?

Still more suggestions for specific adventures: Zenith Trajectory I think the most important part of this adventure is actually how you end it. Your players may become (or even start out as) suspicious of their employers. After a week (in game) after they return Zenith, have the doppleganger...

    Cauldroun/Shackled path Dungeon series?

Here's some suggestions for specific adventures: Life's Bazaar Give the players a copy of the Player's Handout #2: Map of Jzadirune. If they don't find it rumaging through Keygan's stuff, he could volunteer the information. I had one party with the map, and the second one without it. The...

    Cauldroun/Shackled path Dungeon series?

It won't hurt at all starting at 3rd level. Some of the early encounters might become very easy, but the rest of them should still be challanging. If you decide to begin at 1st level, it would be good to have them at 2nd level before they go under Cauldron... the extra hp will do them wonders...

    Absent Players

Most importantly, in your situation, I think it comes down to: is he disrupting the game; do you (or the other players) want him gone; does he want to leave; or can everything work out the way it goes? As for my game, I follow the following self-made rules: First, I don't make my players...

Sweet! I probably won't get mine for at least another week. Is Cauldron in for a world of hurt? Is there any mention of the Smoking Eye? Is there any information on Dungeon 114?

Dungeon #113. Anyone seen it yet?

Are you sure that they will be in issues 114 and 115? This is the first I've heard of it. If it's true, that'd be great. We just began The Soul Pillars, and I've been afraid that we were going to have to put the game on hold until I got ahold of the end of the adventure. As DM, I really like...

    City Adventures

You can read about Thieves' Quarter at The Game Mechanics website (www.thegamemechanics.com), or buy it as a PDF at rpgnow.com (do a search on the website for quarter). You can buy it hard copy at Amazon.com, and probably through your preferred local game store or bookstore.

    City Adventures

I'm a fledgling city adventure DM myself. I've been running the Adventure Path adventures from Dungeon Magazine, and it has city encounters here and there. My experiences with Cauldron have led me to want to do more city stuff. First, I recommend City Works by Mike Mearls, part of the Legends...

What's the highest level PC you've advanced from 1st level in 3E/3.5E D&D?

Epic Had a halfling psion right when the Psionics Handbook came out. Ended up a Nomad 10/Soulknife 10/Slayer 4, updated twice along the way, once to conform to the alternate rules by Bruce Cordell, then again to conform to Mindscapes, also by Bruce. I haven't updated him to 3.5, and I don't...
