D&D 3.x Help with my Drow Swashbuckler (3.5)

I'd swap the studded leather armor for a mithral chainshirt. That gives 4 AC with a max dex bonus of +6. That leaves a little bit under 3k left. A +1 Amulet of Natural armor is 1k, and making the chain shirt +1 is another 1k. I think I remember that Swashbucklers can't use shields. If...

    overcoming Spell Resistance

I thought that let you take 10, as if it was a skill check. Which means you can't use it in battle. This great decreases the value of the feat, unless I'm misremembering.

    EL for serial duels

Actually, having them be sequential makes a big difference. If they all attacked at once, you would be attacked four times in the first round. If it takes 3 rounds to kill one foe, fighting them sequentially means your attacked 12 times. If you don't have area effects, fighting them all at...

    Sources of non-magical healing?

He's looking for overnight healing, so even Fast Healing 1 should be more than sufficient. That heals 10/minute or 600/hour. Unless by "minor fast healing" you mean "Fast Healing X for Y rounds per day", where X and Y are both small. If X and Y are "number of DT feats", you're going to want...

Manifest Level of Advanced version of Caller-In-Darkness

By a strict reading of the rules, the answer is 7 unless psionics has special rules for advancing manifester level. Of course, if it did and you knew about them, then you wouldn't be asking this question. However, assuming that his manifesting was a significant part of the challenge he...

Repair magic items that aren't broken

Make Whole is a second level cleric spell that repairs essentially any object. You can use that to cover items that are too large for mending.

Ways to lower resistance to Speak with Dead?

If anybody in the party has a good Use Magic Device, they could emulate the evil cleric's alignment. It's not clear to me whether this would prevent the save, so consult your GM first. (Looking at the rules, I'd say that it likely works if you use a scroll, but not if you cast the spell, since...

Born of the Three Thunders + Spells w/ durations

I can't look at the actual text of the rule, but from a balance perspective, I would expect one of two things. Either the stunning and tripping only happens in the first round or each round where there is stunning and tripping, the caster is also dazed.

    Tiny armor

I'd expect it to be about as effective as a Medium creature's armor against the attack of a Huge creature. In either case the attacker is two sizes bigger.

In what order is AC protecting you?

This is purely for a fluff description, right? AC generally protects you completely or not at all, and any special situation, such as an attack that might shred armor if it hits the armor, should have specials rules to cover that. When I'm describing an attack, I'll generally use these levels...

    Bard multiclass?

I agree with Nebten. Bard already feels like a multiclass to me. It can do some casting, some skills and sort of fight. Providing even more options for a new player will only lead to decision paralysis.

Dread Necromancer: Charnel Touch question - Help!

The way the text is written makes me think that is done as part of an attack, so you could use it as part of a full attack or a charge. I don't think it has it's own type of action. That also makes the once per round restriction make sense. If the dread necromancer is polymorphed into a giant...

will save improving feats beyond Iron Will?

For a magic item, there's also the Periapt of Wisdom. It's fairly expensive complared to the cloak (4k for a +1 boost and caps at +3) but it works with the cloak. Admittedly, this isn't what you normally think of using it for, but it will boost your Will save.

    Magical Sensor of Scrying spell

I don't see where it says that the sensor is invisible, so it seems that See Invisibility wouldn't help.

    Template for Constructs?

I'm not familiar with Ice Creature, but I imagine that it wouldn't be that hard to modify it into Fire Creature. Do a global replace of ice/cold with fire/heat and you're probably most of the way there.

Do spells end with the death of the caster?

The death of the caster doesn't end the spell. If the spell had a duration of concentration, then it would obviously end with his death (although you could argue that it continues until his turn in the initiative order).

"Big Six" magic item bonuses by level chart?

You might want to have several paths that a player can choose, since different classes will have different focuses. For example, a wizard might have +4 int, +1 deflection, +1 resistance, +1 natural armor while a monk might have +1 mighty fists, +2 strength, +2 wisdom, +2 con or dex, +1...

    Abandoned by Rogue

So he's hidden. Last I checked, rogues didn't get an option to take 500 on their Hide checks. So somethings with a good Spot skill will see him. Hiding also won't beat Blindsense, Blindsight, Tremorsense or Scent. So he will have encounters. He can disagree with you, but he's the player...
