    The Spell Compendium!!! Thanks Wizards!

Where the heck do you get your info, Merric? I've never seen such a scooper in my life.

What do you think WotC should be making?

DMG III PH III + IV MM IV, V, VI, VII, VIII UA II FF III See how ridiculous it gets? This country's addiciton to sequels will never end. And YET... The hypocrite inside of me would like to see an expanded Epic book, in addition to a hardcover Greyhawk setting.

What DnD/D20 products are you looking forward to?

Spell Compendium Castle Blackmoor The Wizards' cabal (Blackmoor) Tome of Horrors II (haven't bought it yet) Wurst of Grimtooth's Traps (low on cash) Heroes of Horror (but only if it doesn't suck like everything else wizards has put out lately) Castles and Crusades Box Set

    Excited about Magic of Incarnum?

Nope. Not interested in the least.

How do you end a game session?

We never finish until somebody's dead.

    Rate WG7 - Castle Greyhawk

This is a bogus poll, and you know it.

WOTC ad - insulting to gamers?

Calls it like it sees it.

Are you looking forward to Magic of Incarnum?

Not one bit. I'll look it over but I suspect it will be collecting dust on the bookselves in less than six months.

Rate S1: The Tomb of Horrors (corrected poll options)

Ditto that. Of the seven or so players we had at the table, I think each of us went through at least three to four characters, not to mention numerous hirelings and summoned creatures that fell along the way. The surviving PC (or in the rare case, PCs) of each massacre would usually flee the...

Rate S1: The Tomb of Horrors (corrected poll options)

Well done, Warlord Ralts. Let me just say that you got there WAY ahead of my own group, but your experience wasn't all that different from my own, albeit we had four thieves in our party, of which none survived.

A smiling lich's tomb, no less.

    TSR Q&A with Gary Gygax

Hi, Gary, I apologize for stepping in. It's just that I rate that module as one of the all time best out there and hate to see people dismiss it as anything less than a great work of role-playing. In any case, it won't happen again. Sincerely, TBK

    TSR Q&A with Gary Gygax

Wow, you have some real balls, Patryn, suggesting that Gary has been dishonest, and on his own thread no less. Why not drop the euphemistic dance and just call him a 'liar?' You know, seems to me that anyone can play this speculative game. In fact, I'll give it a try and suggest that perhaps...

Rate S1: The Tomb of Horrors (corrected poll options)

Well, 63% of the respondants have given the Tomb of Horrors a 7-10 rating, so that puts to rest any question of it being anything less than an all-time classic. Not that I needed a poll to tell me that. As for the module, yeah, I lost more than a few PCs trying to finish the thing. Did I feel...

    Now they buy pigs

Their idea defies reality. Pigs ARE NOT docile and obedient. They are unruly bastards and, yes, they make a hell of a lot of noise when they are unhappy about something, but that makes it all the more easy to put them to the sword. Stupid pigs. :)

    D&D Minis: Drow, Dragon, Spiders!

I use these things for RPG and nothing else, so I'm less impressed with special abilities, how many points they cost, and so on. What I want is a solid mini that looks good and will last a few years. The deep dragon is the only one that has grabbed my eye, but the thing looks flimsy, as if it...

    GC 2006 - Ptolus Hardback $120!?!

Monte must be in financial trouble to soak the gaming community for this kind of bread. Either that or he's been writing non-stop for the last twelve months and his editor's in China.

What exactly makes the Greyhawk Campaign Setting

I concur with the honorable Grodog.

D&D 4E Who else is going to be a deserter when 4e comes out?

I never addressed a time frame in my comment, so your snide aside is meaningless. I will, however, be realistic about the nature of this business when I say that money grabs are what makes the world go around, but that doesan't mean we have to like it, or even buy into it. I won't be buying...

D&D 4E Who else is going to be a deserter when 4e comes out?

Dude, there are some wicked short term memories around here. When the revision was released, Monte himself revealed to the online community that it had been planned all along. 3.5 was a money grab from the beginning. They can sell it six ways to Sunday, but it was. Will 4e be any different...
