It's pretty much all about the invocations. If we see quite a few (and good ones at that), people will turn out in droves for this book. Otherwise, it will sell only reasonably well. We need a home run since the embarrassment that is MMIV.

As a monster manual, the book blows harder than Katrina. If they had called it Rogues Gallery, that would have been different.

The worst book of the 3e/3.5 series. Hands down a waste of time and money. Thank the lord I didn't have to pay for it. Sadly I did waste valuable minutes actually looking through it.
