Has anybody considered taking a single level of Wiz/ Sorc and then buying a wand/ scroll of Tenser's TRansformation? Assuming Caster level 11, that'd give you +5 BAB, giving you an extra attack. Plus all those Dex and Str bonuses...

I'm looking for a good defending PrC. Things that really boost AC. I've been thinking a Fighter/ Wizard/ Monk/ Duelist would have some good AC bonuses (3 skills that add to AC). What other builds/ PrCs would be good for a melee defsne? I don't really like the Dwarven Defender.

I can see some nasty 0 strength combos coming up with the exahustian one. Anybody know of a spell that does strength damage with no save? (if not a caster isn't likely to dodge, nor make the fort save on Ray of Enfeeblement. Assuming 10 str, this is gaurenteed kill.)

People are forgetting that these fatigue spells are going to hurt the spellcaster just as much. It would only take one of these, plus another strength reducer ('im almost certain there is a no save strength reducer somewhere out there) to kill a mage.

The new metamagic feats are cool. I don't think Minimize spell will get much use, but Weaken Spell I will definitely take if my DM will let me. 1st level fireball? Hot-diggity-damn!

The thing is, this couldn't be the case. We've only got 3 people in the group, and nobody would play in a campaign DMed by a 14 year old. Without the Archer, the group doesn't have enough people, and getting a replacement is out of the question. No joke. This has been happening.

I have, a couple times. It was pretty good fun. None of the guys at the table were immature about it.

I agree on the price. If it was a standard 20 dollar magazine it would be a no-brainer. But now I have to sit back an dthink if dragon is gonna be better than renewing my subscrition to Shonen Jump and EGM.

I'm reading Mr. Carnegie's book right now. Great stuff. The thing I think that most pertains to this thread is his advice that if you want people to do something, make them want to do it.

Where does it say this? It's right in the DMG about the magic weapons/ arrows section. Or do you mean in 3.5? If so, where can I find this information?

Why does everybody hate Gnomes so much? They might not be great fighters, but they make really good mages. Getting 18 con isn't hard for a gnomish wiz/sorc with toad familiar. Str isn't important for casters. They get cool bonuses for illusion, small helps AC, and they get lots of cool...

I don't exactly understand how this works. Could you explain it?
